the fix was a l8 April fools
or it will take a day to take effect which means a good 8 days without dailys
Still bugged for me as well – I missed out on about 5 daily rewards at this point. Kind of sad, since I just got back into the game a week before the Feature Release.
Can someone official please give us an ETA or update?

Is it possible this wont fix till tomorrow’s reset? Can we get a red post to update us on when we should see the results of this fix?
this is unacceptable, someone from Anet please respond if we need to wait reset tomorrow for the fix works.
My daily reset prior to the patch, but I logged in like a minute before the 10 minute notice came up, which was around ~7 min after reset. Not sure if the reset was caused by the server backend already having the patch or because I logged into a character I never play in an attempt to reset it.
Anyone that logged in prior to the patch and had their daily not reset will probably stay that way until tomorrow, because they’re already flagged as completed. Not sure why they would wait until after reset to push the patch.
Not working for me. Everything is broken again.

Just got an in-game message from an Anet dev. It WILL take till next reset for the fix to take affect. Red post to confirm is incoming.
this game is broken thanks to the megaserver which imo is the worst idea ever. it messes up guild events up because random people would show up and cap a map and a organized guild that has 150 people let say gets screwed because of the random people. people are bugged and the techs cant fix it after 6 days going into 7days. im never buying gems ever again. i work for the dep of defense if i screwed up this bad i would not have a job anymore.
At least they’re consistent in their terrible choices. I’m not even surprised.
I also wouldn’t hold my breath on any sort of compensation.

Well, there’s a lot of reasons I could say for why, but most of them are insulting Anet so lets just go with “because.”
oi-vey. The Megaserver is not – in principal – responsible for any of these bugs. That is, yes, these bugs appear to be a result of the way the Megaserver was implemented, but it’s not something inherit to it. And all in all, it’s a great addition.
Stop being so afraid of the future.
We should focus less on kittening, and more on getting the development/community team to be more responsive. This was a pretty big bug – it’s really not cool that an announcement was not pinned to the top of tech support forum.

Nothing’s changed at all. I logged in and my daily is 4/5. I thought after my seven month hiatus Anet would get their act together, but as David Byrne once famously crooned, “Same as it ever was.”

No world boss rewards for kill the boss (right screen floating chest) and no big chest.
6 or 7 day now… still waiting for a solution.
this is all i got from anet and yah ive posted on the forums and sent in game bug reports but if u want me 2 sent lots more im pretty shore im ok with that

Boy was I excited when I saw the “New build is on the way” message. In hopes of fixing my Ground Hog Day issue.
Nope Same deal 5/5 completed. Man this is super sad face.
When I do a dungeon. I get no daily reward. The 1.5 G etc.
The Daily is stuck at 5/5
Please help us.
Also it is very irritation that there are 9 pages of comments of people having issues and no comments from the game developers.

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue with the Black Lion Trader [Armorsmith]. This NPC will once again exchange older town clothes for outfits and tonics.
Fixed a bug in which time-gated features were not properly resetting.
Fixed an issue that caused daily achievement rewards to be granted erroneously.
Fixed a bug in which leveling up during PvP would heal the player.
The Fires of Balthazar Skin has been changed to be account bound on acquire.
To alleviate concerns about team coordination, the foreign language filter no longer applies in the Edge of the Mists. The filter is always disabled while in any WvW map.
WvW rank-up bonus chests are now limited per account:
No new bonus chests will be awarded beyond a maximum of 99.
Existing bonus chests will be capped at 250. Any beyond this will be discarded.

We’re almost at a week deprived of dailies/laurels/chests/dungeon rewards with no feedback or even a hint of compensation. I’m afraid this may well be the A-net standard we should just expect for all similar bugs from now on.
No type of compensations for the 7 days that i couldn’t earn any kind of reward oh and still bugged…
yah missing all the stuff sucks but i thinks whats worse is the lack of talking to us no info at all no idea how long it will be till its fixed could be a month as far as we know might as well just play a different game and give them are money

This bug affecting time-gated features has been addressed as of today’s hotfix. If you are being affected by it, you will need to log in to this build before the next reset of that time-gated feature. At the next reset for that time-gated feature it will reset properly.

We all do, but it’s not likely to happen.
We just have to put our money where our mouth is and not buy anything from the gem store so they get the point that this type of behavior is not okay if you want to keep a customer base.

Not even a “sorry for the week long inconvenience”, or “sorry we couldn’t push this literally 15 minutes faster”?

Still bugged for me as well after whatever patch they did. I have tried moving my toons to other maps, logging out, logging in, even rebooting my machine. It’s really sad. I had just brought 3600 gems too. No dailies and the home nodes not resetting I could live with, but I cant craft any of the ascended stuff and not getting rewards on world bosses pretty much seals it for me…Guess it’s time for Titan Fall.
So why was this hotfix put in mere minutes after the daily reset? Why do we have to wait another day to get any laurels, dungeons, ascended materials etc etc? This will be six days of this bug for most of us. It feels like the timing of this hotfix was a big kitten you to all of us.
well even when its fixed im going 2 report that im missing items
each day every day till i get them. i dont mind the gold im down or the fact im now 8 days behind on crafting my gear. i want my laurels and my achievement points which you can never catch up on when you miss them
I’m happy that tomorrow it will “hopefully” be fixed after reset, however….the lack of communication to the community over a very important bug was kind of sad. You had players basically locked out of a majority of pve content. That is a serious issue, I get that it takes time to fix these kind of bugs, especially on a holiday, but there should have been more communication to the playerbase.
What shall we do if this hotfix doesn´t work? Keep on waiting for a miracle?

The fact anything we complain about or say we dislike in this thread, will probably just get chalked up as, “Some players just dislike stuff.”
This goes to show they need a MUCH MUCH better QA dept. I understand things slip through but the amount of things that have slipped through with all the living story and pretty much every patch they have done…..I would be ashamed.

You know this how, exactly? Do you somehow have access to the game’s source code and can magically pluck out errors from its likely countless lines at the snap of your fingers?

I’ve been bugged since that big mega server patch. No dailies, dungeons, crafting those timed components. I filled out a bug report, but still haven’t had any response. I know you are working on it, but an acknowledgement to know you got my report would have probably made me feel a little better about this.
Tonight’s patch did not fix any of my bugs.
The fix also reduced my laurels by 5. Thanks a lot.
They waited for the reset to roll out before applying the fix, that’s genious man, I’m genuinely astonished.
