Mesmer clones are not pulling aggression

I just started playing Mesmer a few days ago and I’ve come to notice that none of the clones pull attention. No matter if I decoy, phase retreat, or mirror image, the monsters do not lose attention of me. This leads me to constantly have to tank or kite monsters that should just be focusing my clones.

Decoy seems to not even stealth me. It just spawns a clone and I’m still sitting there getting wailed on.

I would consider these bugs as game-braking for Mesmers and makes leveling incredibly arduous.

Anybody have similar frustrations with this?

Quick thing I’m adding because it just happened a few seconds ago…

I created a clone but it attacked a neutral target that I hadn’t initiated combat with. The clone stabs the neutral target (I’m running S/S weapons) and the neutral monster (a Moa) runs over and starts hitting me. What gives?

My hubs plays a Mesmer at his main and he said he never has any issues with this. However, I started paying one recently and I’ve noticed if I even so much as auto-attack after casting decoy the baddie just hunts me down. I believe any activity while “stealthed” from decoy automatically breaks the stealth. Also, I’ve initiated new combat casting mirror images and I’ve still pulled aggro first. I’ve also had my clones engage a baddie I didn’t have targeted (not pulled due to proximity, actually attacked).

So, it seems random and possibly not duplicatable by all.

Luckily, I’m good enough to survive… Most times… Lol ~laughable sarcasm~
