As the title states, myself and several others in my overflow server did not get any credit in the achievements panel for slaying the karka queen.

Same here. We did the event , got both the bonus chest with rares and the actual chest, got the credit for the event, but no achievement at all. Most seem to have got it without problem, yet for several of us the achievement didn’t register.

Same here as well, not only for the queen, but also completed contractually obligated. And did not receive the achievement for that. Please fix

Same, but im not overflow. And the Events bugged 3/4, all done and haven’t contested, so i cant do it again ofc, thanks for stolen my time.

Same this happen to me, killed the queen and no achievement. And the event on Far Shiverpeaks is bugged at 3/4 all the time.

Update: I closed my client, logged into a different overflow server and attempted the event and was able to get credit the second time I killed it.

The only thing I did differently was that I was waiting at the location where the queen spawned and began attacking it immediately.

I also threw a few eggs from the ground at the queen (which I did not do the first time)… but I’m not sure if that is related at all.

hopefully we will ge tthe achievement without having to kill it again, as I can’t be bothered with the fight again. Not fun!

Edit: Did it a second time and this time i threw some eggs- it worked^^

same here… got both chests and gold even credit but no achievement…

i did not use any eggs too… is it necessary for the achievement?

Did the Event again und used eggs and got the achievement now (not sure if it is because of the eggs though)

i didnt get the achivement either, i killed the queen when in overflow.
i did get to loot the chest, got the rares, and got gold event reward.

OK i killed her the second time on an overflow and didn’t got the achievement. I’ll try now to close the game and go for it later.

As usual, Anet does not test its updates…

Nice, i’m on an overflow server, all karkas are invulerable…

Same killed her again on different server this time. No achievement. Also I was not able to get the main chest either time. I see it on map, its invisible to my toon and unable to access it. I can walk up to it. It will block me. but still unable to search it.

it looks like you can only loot the chest once a day

Nay of the Ether, I was unable to loot it even once. I did get the side chest reward, but not main. Also the reward for finishing the event, just no achievement points.
I did notice the main chest is visible as soon as you go to southsun, I ran my second account there and its already showing for that. It’s the first time that account was to southsun.

I helped kill the queen and threw 3 or 4 eggs at her while doing it.

I got the bonus chest and the chest spawned for me.

But I did NOT get the achievement.

I don’t think throwing eggs has anything to do with this random bug. After many tries, I managed to do the queen second time (hadn’t got achievement at first kill) and thankfully this time achievement counted.

Both times I killed the boss I hadn’t thrown a single egg at her, it was impossible after all with all this lag I had to get them off the ground before others did.

Here’s some info:
- The other events kicked in while the queen event was on.
- The queen event was finished before the others.
- After the event lots of enemies with the Determined effect lurked around until the events where done, then they simply despawned.

My guess is that the events should not come back until the queen event is over., or things may bork up.

The first time nothing the second I guess I should have used another toon to get the one chest spawn.

Did the queen 3 times on one account, got the reward chest, but no achievement. Did the queen again on alt account, got chest no achievement. Please fix Also tried different characters on first account with no luck on achievement.

First fight: did not throw any eggs, did not get achievement.

Second try: did throw eggs at her twice, and got the achievement.

I feel that this could well be related, especially as I see others have posted the same thing.

Same, in an overflow. Got the bonus chest, chest and event medal but no achievement.

Same, in server proper. Just wanted to add my name to the mix in case you fix the issue retroactively (please do, I spent enough repairing my armor to make that event not worth repeating).
