So I ran my non-80 alternate characters through the usual dragon bosses; The Shatterer, Tequatl, Claw of Jormag. There were only two that were able to do these dragons.

When I switched over to my 80 alts, they got the gold rewards – yet no dragon boss chests.
Not talking about the bonus chests, but the normal chests.

Seems now can only get 2 normal chests per boss per account now. Is this a bug or an undisclosed nerf??

Used to be able to chest a chest from the boss no matter how many alts killed them, although now the spawn times are much longer and I rarely have the time to kill each boss more than twice in a day.

Oh, and the daily does not reset this issue, so am susupecting it is a new bug.

Shatterer: Killed with a 70 Engy & 56 Thief, both got the normal boss chests, only one got the bonus chest. Logged to an 80 Ranger, got gold reward – but no chest. Relogged, no change.

Tequatl: 70 Engy helped kill Tequatl, got normal boss chest & bonus chest. Logged an 80 Necro another time, got the chest. Later switched to another 80 alt, Charrdian. Gold reward, no chest. Waited, no change. Relogged, no change.

Frozen Maw is not affected.
Shadow Behemoth has been MIA all week on Jade Quarry.

Claw of Jormag spawns so slow am lucky to get two kills a night. Did get three in tonight. 70 Engy got no reward or loot, yet the day before when she was 63 got the normal boss chest. 80 Ranger & 80 Mesmer both got their normal boss chests, Ranger got the bonus chest.

Daily reset is bugged sometimes and thats prolly the reason.

According to my spreadsheet, as I have 11 characters to select from so need to keep track, 71 engy & 53 thief killed the Great Jungle Wurm.
Logged in a bit ago on my 80 Elecharr, got various reqards for pre-events, no reward on the actual wurm, but did get a boss chest. /boggle

Have to enjoy these odd game bugs. Daily should be resetting in the next 10 minutes.

They made some changes..
And now you can get the bonus chest once per boss per day per account. (And: The bonus chest only appears for a character that is lvl 40 and above??)
Each character of yours should be able to get the normal boss chest once per day.

Except these chests you will not receive other ones (like a second bonus chest) or a boss chest twice for the same character.

However, there is something happening that occurs to be a bug (?) that is not communicated about by Anet yet.

Is something like that happening to you?

Yesterday my ranger did not get a chest from Claw of Jormag, but I did get a chest later in the eventing on a Charr engy.

Today I got on a half hour after daily reset, was on my Norn engy. Got gold reward yet no chests.

This game is getting worse. Running the “Gw2.exe” -repair option now to see if maybe that will fix it, cause it seems random characters are not getting any loot whereas other alts are.
I only have 11 characters on my account. Should ask a friend who has 16 characters if she’s having any issues with boss chests.
