Title says it all. Not even GCD. This is gamebreaking for pvp (and for pve i’d assume at some point) because I use raven for pvp and I can basically blind my enemies to infinity.
Please fix it soon.
I did some testing after noticing this bug and found that the trait “Go for the eyes” is what causes this behaviour.
The blinds come from the trait not from the F2 ability which you cant activate at all!
You can pretty much only spam the trait effect.

So apparently the pet F2 ability is bugged so practically, the trait itself works like this:
F2->pet ability+trait activates→F2 in CD (therefore the trait does not activate)
But atm “F2 in CD” part is missing. Simplifyng…kinda.
So the pet F2 is bugged, not the trait.
The trait go for the eyes is broken. It gives the F2 ability no cooldown but loss of the effect from the F2 skill. It also doesnt allow Wilting strike to work.
What this bug does is that it disables the actual skill used by the pet when using the F2 with Go for the Eyes, causing the pet to use one of it’s other attack skills instead – and F2 has priority over the other skills. To put it together, whenever the pet starts the queued (though since it’s high priority, it goes through the queue) F2 skill, activates Go for the Eyes (beastly warden, too, but not wilting strike – wilting strike seems to be bound to the actual F2 skill and not the activation), does not activate the pet skill aligned with F2 but another attack instead, and as such doesn’t apply to cooldown from the F2 skill that never was activated. Because F2 has priority over the other attacks, pressing it again will interrupt whatever attack it previously activated, allowing repeated activations. Since Go for the Eyes has no internal cooldown, you can keep enemies permanently blinded faster than any attack can hit by simply hitting F2 fast enough.
EDIT: also allows you to skip the aftercast on pet attacks, increasing attack rate substantially. As much as I love having extremely strong pets, this bug is quite game-breaking.

For some reason there is a bug now that disables your second pet when you enter pvp, so you always have to go and select the second pet from the pet panel.
All pets of my ranger just disappeared, as if they disabled. I tried many things, i cant see skills bar, health bar, guard/avoid, i cant see then, i cant to enter on pets screens (K), nothing.
And…is just on spvp, hearth of mist or one of maps, any one, i need help, pls.
Same pet options missing only in PvP when I enter PVE the pet returns. I had a full match without my pet, deaths/combat dont activate the pet either nor re-logging/re-starting.
yes i have that same bug but also some people who do have there pets have bin saying that they can’t change there pets from what they had before patch.
Also have this problem, can’t continue my PvP progress at all. This is really frustrating and it makes me sad that we’re getting no feedback at all from the Support team. At least let us know that you’re working on it and when we can expect a fix?
I thought it was only me. I asked the map and no one else had this bug. Put a in game report for a bug yesterday.Didn’t receive a single email,response, letter in the mail.Nothing.
Still having this problem. I have tried changing around traits and re-logging or changing to pve and coming back to pvp and nothing seems to fix the issue. This is a rather big deal, quite a few players unable to even use their ranger in pvp, not sure how this has not been addressed or even looked at yet.
I have a feeling this bug fix might be pushed back to next week because of the Beta weekend XD. I really hope that’s not the case but it seems likes they have their hands full atm with all the specializations and raids.

Another pet-less Ranger unable to properly play in PVP going on three days now. I put in a bug report yesterday. Please address this issue! I also contacted support about this issue and received no response.
Hello, i have the same problem too, the pet works fine in PVE but in PVP don’t work, don’t even apears the pet management, any solution in the nexts days ???, we need our pets in PVP
I have this same bug! I have no pet! I’m sick of people saying my pet ran away when I ask mapchat if anyone else is having this problem! Thank goodness I’m not the only one!
I can’t access my pets in PVP either. There’s just a button that says activate pet or something similar; clicking on it does nothing. Hitting K does nothing. The pet is just not there in PVP areas. However the pet is fine in PVE areas.
3 days without pets on PvP…..
That was the response i got (3 days agor by e-mail): "The Guild Wars 2 Development Team is aware of this issue and team members currently are working on addressing it. Please keep an eye on the official forums for any future updates and announcements regarding Guild Wars 2. "
Hope they fix it soon.
