Reporting players in pvp kicks you out of game and gives error.
There was one guy who were afk from game start, and all because he really badly wanted to play new map… Everyone who tried to report him got error and dc from game.
Idk how people like him can get away from wasting 9 players time, please fix report feature asap.
There are a large number of people abusing this bug in pvp right now spamming chat and people with hate speech in hopes of being reported so people crash during matches. Are these people going to be adequately dealt with when reported through other support channels?
The first time I got this crash was after the season three update – I had reported scammers before it. I thought, y not report and idle player in pvp? as soon as I submitted the report, I crashed. Then today, I was playing more pvp, and a member of our team was swearing at us, telling us to die the usually salty sea dog. After the game I reported him and again got a crash report. This may just be a problem with the lowest system requirements (which I use) or it may be a problem with everyone.
Any reports that I did in pvp have caused me to crash right when I press report button after I chosen the reason. I know at least 5 more people who having the same issue.

game crashed for like 3 times by using different report options , guess they all are bugged now . also i couldnt log in game and couldnt open official site without vpn

So when consistently half or more of the team either DC’s before the gates even open and are gone all match every single match (on both sides), or stay in the spawn dancing and hurling insults at the map in general in /yell, we shouldn’t report them?
10 matches in a row on Capricorn I had a thief who would stand in the spawn, dancing, yelling “I’m sinking this ship lolololol!” over and over the entire match. And no ability to report what is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, griefing.
It also happens with the “Verbal Abuse” section. Had someone that really deserved that one today but instead of reporting him my game crashed. Not really nice. I tested it 3 times and it always crashed after pressing the “Report” button.
I just crashed out of pvp match without that bug. I can’t play pvp till this all is fixed. Instability kinda kills the fun more than 4 teefs in your team.

So in the middle of an unrank match, my team ranger decide to go afk cos we were losing and I was checking report to see if anything afk related reported was added in the last patch and I saw “idle player”.
As soon as I click the send buttom, the game immediately crash on me, the type I can send the error report to Anet. Since I was in the middle of a match closing into 500, I had to cancel it to get back in (I ain’t getting dishonour) quickly! Luckly no dishonour.
The next match, another player goes afk and the same thing happened!
So I’m just wondering if anyone else had encounter this game problem?
Ok technically yes I should send the error report for them to see the casue of it but it’s a lose lose situation since I have no intention of doing it again only to get an dishonour at the end of it!
Not just ‘Idle Player’. Same thing happened to me when I went to report a gold seller that had paged me…

But clearly the dishonor system is “working as intended” – how else can you explain the horde of afkers ruining everything for the “serious pvpers” (wait – serious? pvp? Gw2?? —never mind, I digress).
So picture this – no it’s really beautiful: some guy, through no fault of his own, dc’s during a match. While he’s watching the revolving brushstroke on the load screen his toon appears to be afk to the other players, so they report him and promptly crash! Now everybody gets dishonor! Bwahahahaha!
I know the solution – stop trying to pvp on a potato, bruh! Only people running an Alienware Area-51 or better (and who have “Lurn2Play” on macro) will be allowed to enter the PVP lobby.

But reporting gold sellers keeps this game clean, so that’s why i said that. If a new player reported one and had a crash he won’t do it again. So it was for them a big issue not for me, and nice they solved it, even when they have bigger issues now with the sync.

It’s ok, I understand. I apologize for anything. And it was nothing at you, it’s just that people are used to come here demanding for fixes to issues they are already working on or don’t even wait a reasonable time for a response or fix (some issues seem easy but a fix may demand long time and most people don’t realize that). And yup, I can see like an issue like that can cause harm, like it would miss an opportunity for them to know about an abuse player.

So you call people who quit matches, afk or generally sell wins to other teams players? Yeah no ty I would rather they were gone.
Real players can actually stop playing pvp BECAUSE there are such players as these so it could be argued the small playerbase is because of all the bad apples. Either way I know which I would prefer on my team and the enemy team for that matter.

I don’t think it’s fixed. Twice now, if I report someone, then exit and re-open the game sometime later, it gives me a black screen.
The first time this happened, the game ran fine for a bit. Then I alt-tabbed out and saw an error message, saying that my game had crashed and it asked if I wanted to send a report. My game hadn’t actually crashed yet, so I just closed the error message. But once I did, the game went to a black screen.
The second time, it gave me a black screen immediately after I clicked the first green “play” button.
Both times, I had to ctrl+alt+delete to open task manager and forcibly close GW2. I can play again if I re-open GW2, though it took a long time to load the character select screen.
Edit: my internet connection is stable, in case that matters.
