I got update and went to the game but for me the Season 2 is locked: attached screenshot.
When i try to Buy it it threw error about connection.

Already tried several times, on different chars, with 10 minutes delay. Still cant join the adventure.

Hello, I have the exact same problem.

Logging out and in did not solve the problem. So does changing toon, rezoning, and whatever other common sense methods I have tried.

I also did not get any green star or ingame mail when I logged in after patching.

Please help! I am quite sure my account is bugged.

Same here, cannot access the living story content. Some of my guildies have been able to access and have shown me where but nothing for me, tried relogging etc. Just thought I would mention that this seems to be wide spread, as I have also seen it mentioned in map chat by other people.

Hoping for a quick fix! But enjoying the new map in the mean time

I’m having the same problem. No in-game mail or green star at top right of screen or anything. I’ve tried it all and nothing is getting it to start. I suspect it’s impossible for me and anyone else who is also glitched to start the season 2 until a patch is released.

The entrance is in the far southwest corner of Briban Wildlands, and can be locked behind an event chain that must be completed.

Thanks. I was at the South West of Brisban Widlands. Didn’t know about the event chain.

Same problem for me: error 1078.

Same here.
I would go on a guess that if its tied to the gems store so on release it gets overflowed by requests.
Which means that it will keep blocking people from starting it.

P.S. it would be nice it there was any other indicator of what event started.
beside me knowing that there should be something and then going on the forums to find / trouble shoot how to and where.

I too am having this problem. I also didn’t get my season 2 wvw reward chest until the patch for that, so it’s kind of amusing. I hope I can play the LS soon!

same problem here, I “purchased” the story mission for 0 gems and got an error. No mail either, deleted all mails and still nothing.

:(( really wanna play the mission, sounds fun.

Same problem. Went to Dry Top, logged in with a different character, went to a different zone. No mail and the episode is locked.

P.S.: I also only received my season 2 wvw reward chest after the patch. I hope that my account isn’t doomed.

I am having the same issue, restarting the client didn’t help, and I even ran a repair just in case.

I’m having a separate issue with the trading post, I wonder if that’s somehow blocking the content if this is running through the gem store.

Yeah, same problem as well. Tried all the obvious stuff like relogging, zone, switching characters etc. Still stuck with nothing but a “buy” button that doesn’t work.

I’m from EU btw, maybe that may help.
