The staff “Delusion” used to be an exotic staff with magic find on it. However, unlike every other item that used to have magic find on it, it never got changed over to new stats, and instead of fixing it, someone decided it was better just to slap an account bound flag onto it.

Delusion is a beautiful staff that pays homage to an old GW1 staff skin, and it’s a tragedy that it is no longer available to anyone except by unbelievably rare, account-bound drop. Most people don’t even know it exists. Please, remove the account bound flag and just give it a new set of stats so that people can once again trade and enjoy it.

…And if you do remove the account bound flag, please remember to fix its listing in the BLTC as well, like the light of dwayna recipe and the zodiac sword skin. Every time an account bound flag gets removed, it screws up the trading post for some reason:

I’m not entirely sure this is a bug, but I support the sentimement: Delusion shouldn’t be account-bound (and thanks for reminding ANet to double-check what happens after removing the relevant flag).

On the other hand, you get to choose its stats, so from that point of view, we are much better off: we get the stats we want without having to use a transmutation crystal to have the skin we want.

I want that staff.
