Yea, this is just rubbish, I shouldn’t have to mess around with the target for the .exe file, their launcher should just be a lot better…

Did some of you stuck at 1 file that the other fixes didn’t work for try changing the language to French, downloading and then changing back to English like I posted earlier? I’m curious if you tried it and it worked as it seems to work for some.

If people have Gemfx installed it will not go beyond Initializing. Try removing Gemfx.

I uninstalled the game and tried to install the game again to see if this would fix the bug, now the game just doesn’t update at all, crashes when it gets to the downloading stage

I have no idea what to do, i’m hoping when it gets fixed it will allow me to download again.

In the meantime, if you try some of the player suggestions here and find that one of them does help you, could you kindly call that out, so others know to try it? Doing so may also help the devs analyze the various issues.

This has worked for a few people that have at least posted and said it worked (maybe others it worked for didn’t post).

If some of you are stuck at 1 file, try changing your language to French to complete the download. Then change it back to English when it is done. This has worked today for both PC and Mac users:
