I just encountered this problem after moving back home to the UK after being in America for a bit and transferring to an EU server. Massive pain and it’s really disappointing to see how they just haven’t bothered to fix it after all this time.

Agreed. Even after getting rid of it (100 matches with no rewards) I’d gladly sacrifice a new content update for a bug-fix update.

This is still very much a problem.

I moved from Aurora Glade to Sanctum of Rall a few months ago, actually gave up on tpvp for a while due to this. It’s not even about the items for me but the extra rank points you miss out on!

This is just absolutely ridiculous! this has been going on since launch, you guys have known about this for over a year and still nothing has happened!!

The users affected by this are just left to either move back(Spending own gems, which by the way, is absolutely unheard of! This is your bug, your problem, why must we pay for it?!?!?!) or stick it out and grind the same amount of wins, which wouldn’t be a problem if you only had 10, well what if you have over 500 wins? what are you supposed to do? just bend over, take it and say thank you?

This forum post has been bumped numerous times, yet for months on end, we haven’t received any word from ANet on this. I, myself, have logged numerous incidents(tickets) with them only to receive a standardized response saying they are currently on it. Well I’m sorry but this has been going on since launch and patch after patch no word about it whatsoever.

Personally I think you guys should warn people when switching worlds and for those that did not receive the warning, they should be able to move back to their home worlds FREE OF CHARGE!

but hey, who am I kidding?! Like that will ever happen…

Will you be able to address this bug with the pvp rewards overhaul?

Exactly this scenario confuses me. They should know a year ago that the longer they ignore this bug, the worse the transfer stories get.

Unfortunately I would not count on anything from Anet. They have been surprisingly bad here.

You can:

A) Transfer back, and pay up the gems yourself, and get rewards again. (I assume this is true, no promise)
B) Play. And every single time you don’t get a chest (= the next 1.000 matches), submit it as a bug ingame, and hope it draws attention eventually (Don’t count on it).

Has the reward update addressed this?

We paid a lot of money to transfer so my brother and I can play together and now we get this B%^##$

Do you know how long it will take to catch-up 6 months of chests and not get anything!?!?!?!?!?

i am having this problem right now. so will i actually get back everything iv earned? because iv probably had about 200 reward chests on my previous server. and i dont want to miss out on another 200 before i start earning them again

I believe when there is a bug for over one year that affects people who pay money to transfer and ANet will not reimburse people for the lost chests or gems this topic should be stickied.

I guess it is stickied but it only shows when there is a comment, kinda defeats the purpose of a sticky if it only shows after people complain.

Will the new spvp reward scheme be addressing this bug?

Appreciate a dev response if any of you are available to comment, would be nice to know who I can and can’t play with next month..

Oh yeah, same thing happened to me too. And then I found this thread, which is like suuuuper old and still no fix. Thanks, A-Net!
I dont even think you can expect to get the chests back you would have gotten, but didnt. :[

Could this fix the region transfer reward bug? Has the day finally arrived???!!

No wonder anet didnt bother fixing this since forever. Chest were gonna be removed anyways =]
