Yeah, so I bought some gems with gold, bought one kit, and when I double clicked on it, I got a lemon dye.

I really hope there’s something you can do about this because I kind of want either my 9G25S back , my 125 gems, or a toxic dye.

Obviously because the dye kit disappears, I don’t have a screen of both the kit and the dye at once, but here’s the dye that came out, and I also have a screen with the dye kit being my most recent purchase, which was currently like 5 minutes ago as of right now.

And the toxic dye purchase…

I submitted a ticket, so we’ll see how that goes. That’s just really odd.

Well the toxic dye kit does says this in the description:

Contains one random armor dye from a pool of 25 colors that includes six new, exclusive colors.

Sadly, you are not guaranteed a toxic dye. It’s a chance you take to possibly get an expensive dye for less gold/gems.

WHAT, are you kidding me? COME ON Anet that’s garbage.

A six in 25 chance!? That is absolute bullkitten.

There isn’t a 6 in 25 chance of getting an armor skin when you buy an armor skin with the PREMIUM kitten CURRENCY. If I go to the store and buy a drink, I don’t have a 6 in 25 chance of actually receiving a drink! Why would there even be a common dye in a kit specifically labelled “toxic dye kit”.

Well Anet, you can forget about me buying any of your stupid exclusive dye kits again, because if i’m paying premium currency, I better actually get what I’m buying, not “a chance to get”.

The very absolute least they can do if they have to pull that kind of shady crap is give you a guaranteed uncommon or rare dye for the trouble.

It is always best to read the description fully before making a purchase. At least, now you are aware. =)

Yeah I’m aware of a couple things now.

I wish there was a 6 in 25 chance of my credit card taking the charge the next time I buy gems. BUT NO, THAT’S ALWAYS GOT A 100% CHANCE.

I dunno what’s the worst part, not having the dye, losing my 9.25G or feeling incredibly stupid about the whole thing.

You can still buy exclusive dyes at the trader right? I’m pretty sure I got a frost and flame dye that way.

I’m having a new rare dye tonight, come hell or high water.

It really isn’t necessary to create a new post each time you wish to add to your previous statements. You can just edit your posts. =)

And, yes, you can purchase Toxic dyes from the trading post. I have one in my inventory I got from a Toxic Dye Kit I will be selling, some day, when the price is right! ; )

Well good to know I can still buy them from someplace with 100% certainty I’m getting what I pay for.
