I finished 30 rounds of Toypocalypse, got the personalized gifts for the achievement, but it isn’t counting for Seasoned Toymaker. Picture included, so you can see it says “Repeated 1 time,” but the box isn’t checked.

Often, infinite Achievements don’t count towards Metas.

Then why is it listed there in the req, O would like to know if this is a bug or if i have to do the achivement alot of time, I would like to have some clarification since i have most of these Winter games.

Here is some information I found about the Meta:

’You only need to do 18 of the 23 achievements listed below the meta achievement requirement to complete this meta. The story achievement Grawnk Munch count for the meta but the achievement Generous Harvest does not. Unlike last year, the repeatable achievement also counts toward the meta but you can ignore them or do them if you prefer an activity (you won’t see checkmarks on the repeatable achievements under the meta but they do count towards it).’

I would guess, considering the source, it is valid.

Thanks for the info. I’m currently at 15/18, and Toypocalypse Survivor would bring me to 16/18. I’m assuming once I finish two more achievements, it will complete the meta (otherwise I’ll be back)!

I came back to say I’m sitting at 17/18 for the meta, with Toypocalypse Survivor still not counting. Bells of Wintersday did count (I went up to 17 as soon as I finished 30 songs).

If it is a bug, I’m doubtful they’ll fix it at this point. I’ll be doing the other achievements anyway, just wanted to note the issue.

Generous Harvest isn’t listed when I click on Seasoned Toymaker, but Bells of Wintersday (repeated x1) and Toypocalypse Survivor (x4) are listed but unchecked.

I’m at 17/18, with 16 check marks listed, I guess one of those repeatable achievements is being counted and one is not.

I believe the first full iteration of Toypocalypse Survivor did count for me but I’m not 100% sure.

I do know that 30 rounds of Snowball Mayhem counted, I got my meta title on my 30th round. I started the 30 with 16/18, got to 17/18 on the third win, then 18/18 on the 30th play through. I made sure to wait for the score popup before exiting, though that may not have mattered.

I have not beaten the JP once, nor consumed 10K drinks or 2500 canes, so (most of?) the infinite loop ones definitely counted.

I do note that the infinite ones aren’t checked even after you’ve done them because the game sees you in the start of an achieve when you are eg at 7/30 on one even if you’ve done 60 of it before.

I, too, am at 17/18 with 16 check marks. Mine shows checkmarks by 16 non-repeatable achievements, and I’ve completed two of the repeatable achievements (The Bells of Wintersday and Toypocalypse Survivor) at least once.

It’s easy to see that there is a problem when you take a look at a screenshot.

I posted a separate thread here since my situation was different from the one described by OP, and since none of the information in this thread was relevant until now. (Not helpful to possibly confound one bug and another).

Edit: I should add that I’ve been in a dialogue with support about this since Tuesday. Unfortunately, at the moment, every new response is from a different GM and they seem to misunderstand the description of the problem each time. So far, none of them understands that I’m counting 2 repeatable achievements once each, and 16 non-repeatable achievements once each, for a total of 18.

(With current high volumes, I’m sure they’re trying to close tickets as fast as possible, and are trying to give the best answer in the least amount of time. There may be a few more days of back and forth before someone realizes this isn’t a misunderstanding on our part.)

I am having the exact same issue as @upsdn. I have 17/18 of the meta, 16 checked off, and have completed the repeatable bell ring 4 times. Haven’t tried support yet, I guess that is the next step

The last two years, the repeatable achievements counted once, after the first full cycle. Extra repetitions only gave you APs, but no meta advancement.
This year, neither Toypocalypse or the Bell Choir did advance me on the meta track. I have not finished the PvP track completely once (30 wins).
With the two Tixx dungeon achievements still missing, I am currently at 15/18. (never ever finished the JP).
I am not fond of getting one of the money tracks this time and I would like to know if the repeatable track not counting on its first cycle is intentional or a bug.

Whatever last night’s update did, it “undocumentedly” fixed the repeatable Wintersday achievements not counting towards the meta on my account (not that it is still needed any more here, after I haven’t heard from support for a week & I bought candy to get my 18).
I hope it has fixed the issues on other accounts as well.
