same as everyone else, patch screwed people

I am also experiencing the 1083 Error.

Mainly on the character I was using before the game updated itself manually when switching zones.

Same here. Map info say:
MapLoadState: STATE_SERVER_WAIT

I cant log in to first map of HoT and to Harati HInterland.
LA, Gendaran Fields and Guild Hall works fine for me. I didnt try any other maps. On one try I was ported to map under Harati with message WP is contested You was portet to nearest WP. Or something like that.
After same time i The game client lost its connection to server… (Code=7:0:0:990:101)

Getting worse for me. Can no longer log in with my characters it seems.
Though the forums seem to be running faster.

Have been trying to log in for the past 15 mins. Please fix this s***.

I crash randomly ( i thought was zoned to HoT maps but I was wrong) I crash at any map – and I never ever used to- im about done with GW2 with all the patches that fix one thing and break 2 more.

SCREW IT IM GOING TO PLAY HOS OR APB UNTIL THIS MESS GETS FIXED…WHOS WITH ME?

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one having this issue. Hope a fix comes soon!

lol, I have been trying for an hour…was right there at FE, then bam! Annoyed that I missed today’s daily as well as game play, but life goes on I reckon.

Messy. I can log in to Plains of Ashford with one account and not the other. The one that can, can get into HotM, but can’t get into an arena. The other one can’t get into HotM at all.

ANet crowed about how smooth the launch of HoT was in their latest info update—maybe this is the universe balancing things out again.

I see some people here have similar issues but one more post can’t hurt to get their attention. =P

I can’t log in at all actually. I get to the character selection screen then when I log on a character I get an error after about 30 seconds that says, “connection error”

Fixed: Changed from “offline” to “online” by accessing friends list from character select. Try messing with your online/offline status before trying to enter a map, see if that fixes it. worked for me.

I’m disappointed that there has been no communication about a problem this large immediately following a patch.

Same, created a new character and finally got into the game (stuck at loading into map then network login error). Got to play on the created character and then was able to switch to another for all of five minutes then booted when I tried to map travel.

Unless they are scrambling to fix it and they have no idea what broke it.

We are currently aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.

I’m assuming that they’re waiting to actually realize what the problem is before they say anything, since nobody likes to hear “Yeah we know about it.” and that’s it.

DEVELOPERS a response to the current issue at hand would be appreciated.

Having same problem on my char, no problem on my end. all my internet stuff is working fine. will get to character selection and when i choose my only character it will hang at the loading screen for a bit then say “network error” and close the game. i am, however, i am able to create a new character and play as them.

Yup, same here. Can’t log in on any characters after I had the gall to try and waygate from LA to DR.

Update – was finally able to login with a character I had parked in Fields of Ruin. However, still not able to login with characters in LA. Others in my guild are reporting similar problems – can reach some maps but not others. Also people in my guild can’t map into the Guild Hall map.

Having the same issue myself. Sometimes I can get into maps, if I’m lucky, but if I go to another or waypoint I risk losing connection again.

I have tried a couple of other guilds I am in, but my main guild Canadian Created Cheese Pizza [CCCP] guild hall is broken. We can not enter our hall at all. We most recently did the war room upgrade in the gilded hallow. Not sure if that is what did it, but its completely broken now.

again DEVELOPERS allready responded. And probably they work as fast as possible and dont have time to check forum and respond to each topic about this bug. I presonaly prefere responce like: “Yes we know about it and work on fixing it.” to other options (compleate ingnoration, or wasting time by constat posting about progres)

here and i thought my guild was gonna raid in wvw tonight….. 5 bug fixes and 20 more bugs to replace them.

ERROR CODES are the new completion rewards…i just got a new bloody error code. WHY doesn’t area do QC controls anymore on patches? and you know what making GW2 FTP was a dumb kitten move.
