Just a note to let you know that once you meet the weekly gold cap it prevents you from taking items from mails too even if there is no gold involved. Our community was doing a fundraiser for prizes for an upcoming event series and I’m completely locked out of mail. I have 10 mails waiting all of which have attachments and I can’t delete any of them until next week.
The devs have acknowledged the bug and they seem to have a fix, which won’t be out until next week at the earliest. (See the main post on the topic: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Gold-Transfer-Changes .)
I got hit by it too, even though I haven’t received any gold since before the restrictions went into effect. Socks, but it will pass.
