WvW Bug following update 19/05/15
On IoJ BL it is happening in keeps and towers.

Yeah, please fix the enemy guards spawning on friendly objectives..
Flipped our Garrison back just to have 4 guards on middle inner gate, constantly spawn and attack everything. Guards also spawned on the outer gates, tagging it 24/7.
(Just to mention, the guards spawning in Garri weren’t this bad before it flipped again after the patch.. It got worse when it flipped)
Me, as a scout, I had to run in circles around Garri every single time a stupid guard hit it, just to be sure there’s no real enemies charging at us.. So frustrating, even tho the guards did drop some good loot..

fyi, if you don’t pay attention to your keeps/towers for a while, the guards will in the end manage to get the gates down..

A patch, and still no fix to WvW >:(
I feel like this isn’t getting the priority attention it deserves. This is a serious game breaking problem.
Keeps have waypoints contested non stop. The guards take out oil, cannons, seige, gates. Why do we keep getting patches and NO communication?
as I said in my 1st post wvw always takes backseat, pve fixes done in minutes, when dolyaks weren’t visiting some towers it was 3 weeks ^^
Wow. I develop (not games) for a living. If I introduced such a bug and was unable to fix it quickly, I would be fired. Here’s some pseudo-code for you:

And as for why we aren’t getting fixes…when has WvW seen any love from Anet? Their big “changes” coming up for HoT include getting rid of Applied Strength and Fortitude. That is some awesome changes, right there. Exactly what the community wante…wait…no…we didn’t want that at all.

On Fort Aspenwood Borderland, the NPC ranger at North East Tower was attacking it self. It got its own health down to about 30% before it started to regenerate. When it was attacking itself, swords appeared on the North East Tower icon.
Surprised this issue can continue as long as it does. If something major as this would effect PvE/PvP it would have been resolved already or a rollback till before patch without any bugs.
As a temp solution just remove all npc guards at towers and keeps until you have a solid fix.
Also how is it possible you make changes to skins/PvP and nothing WvW related and somehow WvW gets the bugs?
Get your A game going Anet. Cmon just for once show us WvW some proper love.

In 2 matchups in the last 3 months we had dolyaks not spawning from the camp north of hills to hills itself. Both times i made a bug report. Both times it went unfixed the entire week.

We’ve had that lots of times as well. The only thing that fixes it is a restart for a patch. Flipping the camp away + back doesn’t do anything.

I guess we’ll have to play with evil guards a while longer.
It were slightly funny the first day but now it’s starting to get more and more annoying.
I read that they’re working on it, so ty for that.. Hopefully they’ll come with a fix asap before people go full ‘’screw WvW’’.. (Which I might end up going soon, seeing that I have to run laps around the keeps 24/7 just to stop guards from killing our siege and make sure no enemies are actually attacking..)

My server already did that. We went from winning with fully fortified everything, to losing with everything paper. Our fortified stuff only had base supply and you just cant hold on to things with only base supply with its fortified. Top that off with, once it flipped the stupid freaking guards were taking down the gates.
We got sick of it, we left. Went from winning to losing and not just losing, but losing +18 glicko.
Separatist spies in the ranks of the guards. Still happening on Blackgate. I have noticed it is a “copy” of the sentries at the NET on borderlands. The friendlies spawn, apparently the game believes them to be dead and respawns enemies.
The cause of the “NPC coup” bug (enemy guards at some objectives) has been identified. We’re working on testing and moving the fix towards the Live game.
Did anyone else see a dolly walking from woodhaven to northcamp, when it should be the other way around?

I would love to know how it got into the game in the first place. It didn’t appear that the release notes mentioned WvW at all. Was there anything else that was “tweaked” for WvW in the May 19th release?
There have been friendly guards in the NE camp of the borderlands for some time – they just appeared out of the blue when I was capping it – no idea what triggered them, but they have been around for some months.
Edit: And they’re still spawning (this is after the latest patch which got rid of the “usual” guard problem):
