Would you please make a hotfix for the wind crystal jump not jumping or the lightning tether crystal not taking you where you target but stopping midair?

If you can read this then it is proof that ArenaNet’s moderators just, kind and fair.

Those issues are more to do with your ISP and latency than with the game.

You mean to say that in order for lightning crystals to hit their target I need a connection speed that’s higher than 50 Mbps?

I’ve had the same issue with the lightning crystal. I assumed it was the lag (everywhere else in Tyria I’m fine but in Dry Top I have a solid 3 second lag) but when I’m standing perfectly still and holding my mouse steady to use the crystal, it either drops me halfway or takes me waaaaay too far. It’s basically a roll of the dice to whether I land in the vicinity of my target or not.

Those are issues that have everything to do with ANet designing things that work perfectly under ideal testing environments, i.e. high end gaming rigs in the same building as the test servers and 10 or so people testing.

For the entire last year these skills have blown up in regular gamers’ faces. I remember one developer publically apologizing after seeing this … the consensus was “maybe this should have been tested under more realistic circumstances” and I believe some of the code was optimized, but overall, well, here we still are.
