so a new bug which is quiet gambreaking for mesmers has appeared. the illusions die if enemy stealths.

please fix asap. this is very gamebreaking for me as a mesmer

This is a huge problem, and needs to be addressed immediately.

Two questions that need answering immediately

• How soon until this is hotfixed?

• What stealth changes were made that have resulted in this happening?

The same thing is happening to me too.

I hadn’t used my Mesmer in quite a while so thought I’d spend some money (almost 40g) getting new armour / weapons / trinkets so I could use her WvW.

Obviously I was unaware of the bug otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered.

Please Anet, let us know when this issue will be fixed!

Would be nice anet would even give a reply they’re looking into this… Perma stealth is already plain kittened, now this is just getting me losing against the worst possible thieves.

I don’t get how the kitten you can bug mesmer time after time without even touching the class.

why always every single patch they break us. and the last and worst bug hasnt even been fixed yet. the iwarden is still bugged and now the illusions. i cant play my mes atm as it is beyond underpowered with this bug. anet can we get a hotfix asap u cant play a mesmer atm at all.

Bump. Because a-net breaks mesmers every single patch without fail.

darn i should have made that bet last night i knew they would break something, and please please please anet fix this fast not like u broke the iwarden and never fixed it. this is gamebreaking and if it stays then u just nerfed the mesmers into the ground! i wont be able to play my mes during raid tonight with this as every thief can just look at me and i die!

errm no stress buuuut its been 6hours now. can we get this fixed. ill keep bumbing this every 10minutes. this is a gamebreaking bug and needs addressing fast!

Terrible! Not going to bother with PvP until this is resolved. I already feel underpowered as is; this issue makes things immensely worse.

yep it shows how terrible a mesmer is in wvw because ai is useless, now i cant even kill a thief, because every weapon but mh sword requires a target and phantasms are useless now if they go all pooff.

See it as a buff to stealth. Might as well just admit it, we all hated how weak and pitifull stealth was before. Maybe now people will actually play perma-stealth thieves and PU mesmers.

Can you please make it so that stealth instantly bring you out of combat as well, pretty please Anet? This buff isnt even enough.

Yep this is a horrible bug and is making fighting Thieves in particular a little impossible right now. Hotfix desperately needed.

I’m so mad right now…I just spent months farming up for my legendary bolt and got it finally 2 nights ago for this! Today in wvw I was roaming and got jumped by a thief and got killed which rarely happens and didn’t think anything of it. Later tonight I was running a tpvp match and we lost due to me getting downed 500-497 by a thief. A guildy told me about this bug so I dueled his mesmer to c if it was true and my phantasms died right after he went invise. I’m venting now but if I kitten new none of that would of happened and now I have my first legendary which took forever to farm and I don’t want to play mesmer till this is fixed. I run PU phantasm build and i feel like it’s useless now.

its every build that is affected by this. its a complete joke and thieves know about thi bug and of course focus on u. easy kill as mes is not only powerless but also defenseless. and still not a single response yet. seriously do we need to port in the warrior forums so we can get a confirmation? is this gonna be another iwarden thing that will not get addressed or fixed?

I like how the chaos storm 20k falling dmg trait got fixed almost instantly and this bug isn’t even on their sight which is probably as gamebreaking as the falling dmg bug.

I just don’t get… how the kitten… really… how the kitten can you bug a class so hard without even touching it? All patch notes had nothing to do with mesmer or stealth at all, yet you find a way to bug the whole class. Good job guys, really, good job!

This need to be fixed right away.

Not going to play PvP as long as this is not fixed.

How are we over 11 hours since reporting this, and not even a red post from ANET on a class breaking issue for WvW / PVP?

This is absolute garbage….. Every patch brings me closer and closer to finding a new game, mainly due to total lack of communication from the staff team.

If this was great sword human warriors (weapon, race, and class specific) this would have been resolved 10 hours ago…. but this is a whole class of characters and we cant even get a “We understand the problem and are addressing it”

Anyone home Anet? It’s bad enough the other mesmer bugs aren’t fixed yet. At least fix the one that you caused to completely BRICK the class.
