I’ve been told that others can in fact hear my instruments (Marriner’s Horn + Flute) them but i can’t, I’ve deleted local.dat and also reinstalled the whole game yet the issue still stands. I’ve not managed to find anyone else to see with an instrument to see if it’s for all instruments or just mine.

I’ve also tryed playing with the sound options as well as graphic options just to see if any of it would help but anything i try to do doesn’t work!

Other players can hear their instruments just fine. I can hear other people instruments fine so it’s not the instrument itself. I’ve recently gotten to test it on my friend’s laptop. My instrument works well there. Therefore, there is something wrong with my computer. I cannot pinpoint the problem unfortunately. I believe we are encountering the same problem. There fore, this is most likely not a bug, but a technical problem with our computer/laptop itself. It is not the game or any file of the game. There is some settings we have that are not compatible with the game. I just can’t figure out what it is at the moment. Good luck, I’m still trying to see if I can fix it. Maybe follow the steps StinVec posted for me (it may not had work for me, but could work for you).

i just came back to report that i can’t actually hear anyone elses and i’m glad you’ve responded to me!

I’ll give that a go, aswell as messing with my sound programs!

EDIT: I MANAGED TO FIX IT!! i changed my surround to stereo and now i can hear my instruments, it’s a bit odd but i don’t remember this being an issue back when i used to play
