i lost around 200-300 and didn’t even notice >.<

thank goodness, i thought i was the only one. had 2260 points now down to 1400+. checked guildies they all had their achievement points intact

Thank you for this answer. Very nice to hear it’s already been fixed after such a short time.

So there goes a question. I heard that now when you collect new achievements and then you logout, your achievements are still reseted to the state as they were before getting them, is that true? Or are we safe doing new ones so they will stack with those that we lost?

Lost over a 1000 points on my account

Similar issue, logged in and roughly 1,200 of my achievement points were just up and gone.

Before the patch I got 3505 Achievement points and after the patch i only have 2217 point, lost 1k2+ points, please fix it soon, thanks Arena Net. =)

While you’re at it, can you also reimburse items, tokens, map completion, story line completions and the whole shebang? Thanks!

is it safe to obtain new points? i know they’ve fixed it but will my new points contradict the fix? For instance i should have 2260 but now i have 1400+. If i obtain new points will it still be stuck to 1400 even after the new build in which they have fixed the lost points bug?

I was in shock when i saw that my achievement points went from 2,076ish to 1,533, almost raged because of it. Good thing this is a known bug and the devs said it will be fixed.

Since we talk about achievement points do you have any plans for those who got tons of them by getting just 5 wins in spvp and then delete/create new char/repeat the process?

I lost about 700-800 points, and a few of my friends lost a few hundred points, too. However, one of my friend has the same achievement points. I don’t know what has happened during th patch.

Glad to hear there is a fix coming soon. I was happy I just broke the 2k mark this week and then tonight after the patch i was a sad panda at 1,512 points.
Feel real bad for those who had a lot more total points AND lost a lot more.
Nothing to quit over, but yet another little bug that is very disappointing. They do add up…

I was at 3k and when I logged today I was at 1,8k

Hmm I don’t keep track of it that well. I did notice the decrease but I assumed the points were fixed now in the new build. But you are still missing some? Well you can’t do anything with them anyway.

I’m still missing achievement points after the patch.

Before the major update, I had approximately ~3.9k achievement points. After the update, I was down to about ~2.4k due to the bug that everyone was reporting.

Just now, Anet put out a patch to address the issue of missing achievement points, but only a portion of my missing achievement points were returned. I’m now sitting at 3.4k.

I can confirm that points are still missing AFTER the fix. Had 3146, 1808 after the big update and now down to 3090 after “fix”.

Its fixed for me. Back to 3.201.

I can confirm this too. I had a little over 3,000 before logging off (can’t remember the exact number).
Had 1,753 after the big update.
I’m now sitting at 2,983.
I guess I can live with this. (goes off to buy dozens of whites to salvage…)

Yeah i’m pretty sure my have gone down and haven’t changed after the new patch aswell.

I still seem to be down ~100 points.

Still missing roughly 150 points, I would guess they are from daily’s, monthly’s and salvaging since those don’t tally in the separate lists just at the total…

What about the crafting profession my weaponsmithing 400 is now 150 ! need help here!

If not, I just solved the issue I’ve had with my points.

I completed the map to 100% but it showed 2 POI missing. (Achievement Points altered after Update) <> I re-discovered/explored the points and my Achievement Points recovered to the old amount after new Log-In.

Unless Anet did an update, it helped me in my situation.

Hope you guys get it solved ASAP,…

Anyhow, having the Achievement Points does not give you any benefits, does it?; why such a big fuss anyway, or is there an unknown reward-system?

problem still not fixed?! i lost 800 to 900 achiev points i think… they said it ill be fix with a patch but i already log in and its still bugged

at the moment at my guild display i got all achievs back but at my hero menu i still have less points…

Logged in 9:08 GMT today (16/11/2012) and I am still missing hearts and explored area. That’s what I most care about. I am going to have to go and do them again and that feels boring and irritating. It takes away a lot of the fun of the game if I don’t know I can trust the game to remember what I did.

Please can you confirm that you will fix this and give me back what was taken? I’ve reported this directly to Anet, but I’m raising it in this thread as well in case others have the same experience and because I don’t know if a bug report will get noticed.

Anet is planning an “invite a friend” scheme – but I’m disinclined to play (in case that blocks a fix) let alone invite anyone else while this goes on. I’ve only just started playing so I haven’t been through the beta etc. My recent experience hasn’t been good.

I still miss 40+ Attchevment points, i can live whit it but still anoying that u cant fix it fully

i felt kind of sad when i lost my achivement points [2100+ to 1400], but beside that… what are ap for? just ‘look how BIG i have’ ;P

i did this no change to points.

I had 3,030 achievement points PRE update. Post update I had 1,850. Now logging in again this morning I have 2,950. I still have not got all my achievement points back.

Same i have not got mine back yet

I’m still missing around 30 points, not counting the 10 I had to repeat for the ‘hints’ achievement. I have been playing this game in grand part for the achivement hunting, and having it cut down is disheartening :/

I think I miss some points too. Unfortunately I don’t know how much because I haven’t made a screenshot before o_o

I lost ach points, was left with something like 1600 after patch, You guys are saying the re added them… Mine are supposed to be 2300+ they haven’t changed since fix to when they were lost. :’(

my achievement Points are back, however:

Character Selection screen still shows the wrong amount of achievement points
