But cant anyone help me ? i cant join the game since thursday
First of all I notice you have a lot of applications running. I’d recommend quitting them before trying to run GW2, they’re using up resources that the game probably needs.
I would suggest opening Finder and navigating to your user folder>>Hold down Alt/Option and click Go in your menu bar>>Library(it will only show if you hold alt)>> Application Support>>In here there should be a folder called Guild Wars 2, make a copy of it on your desktop, just in case, and then delete it from the folder.
Try running GW2 again and hopefully it will try and rebuild this folder. Potentially solving your issue.
(I realise your mac isn’t in English, so the Go option in the menu bar might not be called Go? but you’ll have to figure that out yourself xD).
Let me know if this helped at all!
O_o it really worked !!! thanx for saving my life)
it did a fast update and it opened without any problem…
actually my mac is in english only the date is in turkish ^^
and the running app’s was because i was trying if the game was working normally i close everything when i play…
again thank you very much !
I’m so glad it worked for you.
Enjoy!

This worked for me! Thanks a lot!!!
No results here so far. Doing a full reinstall (Including deleting that folder) and got fingers crossed. Not one word from ArenaNet is the frustrating part here. A simple ‘We know about it’ would be something…but nope.
And the full reinstall again failed.
I was having this same problem and the solution recommended by FlamingFoxx worked! Thanks!!!!
It’s still not working for me. On some of the other threads about this problem, there are other people who do not have the folders in application support like me. Is there somewhere else the Guild Wars 2 folder may be located?

Excellent this worked for me thanks.
the guild wars 2 folder isnt there… is there somewhere else it could be???
Had the same issue but it worked I am new as a MAC user and once i figured out the instructions it worked and it was very easy to understand thanks a lot been off the game a week do to this problem.
Props to FlamingFoxx, worked a charm, and that problem was driving me crazy.
And a side note. The folder you have to delete is pretty small(50ishMB), so will be super quick to re-build and update once you launch the Client. Was a bit worried when i read the instructions that it would be the 16GB folder, but it wasn’t. Cheers!

I know this is an old post, but are you absolutely sure you’re looking in ‘Macintosh HD/Users/YourName/Library/’ and not ‘Macintosh HD/Library/’?
