I can’t find this anywhere else, and I feel dumb for asking, but are any other Mac users not able to play gw2 right now? I haven’t played for a couple weeks as I was using the last of my WoW game time, and now that that’s up I was prepared to jump fullheartedly into gw2, but after reading how little support there is, and digging through he forums, I’m at a loss of what to do . Any tips on how to get the game running? It says it has one file to download, but it’s not downloading it. It downloaded something up to 90% at ~800kbs, and then just stopped right at 98%. I know it’s not my internet, but I can’t quite figure out what’s wrong. Is it just because mac hasn’t received the 5/14/13 update? It lets me log in, but I can’t press the play button, it doesn’t light up red, just stays opalescent. Help ;-;

Other users with a similar issue have reported that if they change the language to French and finish the download and then back to English when it is done it works.

I know that seems weird but it seemed to work for them.

Thank you! I’ll try it after the game is done reinstalling, if it doesn’t work again.

Lol I posted this on the pc forums, but I’ve had 2 peeps say that it didn’t work… Lol looks like we have a fix that they don’t have ;p

FYI, this isn’t actually closed, nor is this sufficient Mac support that we are requesting here.

Please send a dev to us to explain the status of the Mac client AND the Mac forum page.

Lol, my hubs said to me “when you get a bee in your bonnet, you just don’t quit” I couldn’t help but laugh… Especially in regards to this. Just trying to help all of us maccies in some way.
