Guild Wars 2

After updating today (Fractured!), I am unable to access the Gem Store. Sometimes this happens on the mac client I’m aware, but the TP is still able to be used and the tabs of the gem store are displayed, just none of the items and it displays the yellow/gold loading animation. Tried restarting, but with no success.

Same issue here on both my Macs. I did ^^^ yet again (sigh) as well as the other bug “fixes” with no luck. I just get the spinning circle of doom. Plus my FPS seems to have taken a hit since the update.

I did the above suggested steps and still have the same issue, I’ve attached a screen shot so you know exactly what the issue is…. I logged in to check and the trading post is working, seems to be unique to the gem store for sure.

Must’ve been something server-side or with the mac client communicating with the server, none of the client-side fixes made any progress, eventually my gem store worked.

I don’t know if you’ve tried this yet,
Open activity monitor and search and close these processes while you’ve shut down Guild Wars 2:
– wineserver
– CVMCompiler
– cookied
– (two instances of) Guild Wars 2
Then just restart gw2 and see if it worked.
(If this was the problem, please let us know! These lingering processes are bugs. A patch to the mac client that forces a shutdown of these when closing the gw2 app should solve a lot of TP issues)

Yes mine is working now as well.

I often (everyday) have this problem, with the exact same situation as on the screenshot. Usually I close gw2 and launch it again, that is enought to “fix” the issue.

Thank you so much Ashley my Trade Post and Gem Store have been down for over a week now and i followed your guide to fix it and it works again Iv submitted a bug report but i think you can ignore that thank you again.

Unfortunately, basically all steps done to try to resolve the Mac client TP issue DOESN’T work all the time. I’ve been managing and ending wineserver, compiler and cookied processes for the past three weeks now. I’ve restarted the client over and over and of course all other troubleshooting steps have been done, however, these do not guarantee the fix of issues. TP still loads forever and cannot do day to day functions around 50% of the time.

This is a known issue that must be fixed on the development end, because solutions don’t work consistently, nor for everyone. There is an issue with the browser design of the TP and how it loads into the game or something. I’ve had this problem persist 50% of the time for over two-three months now and have been bearing with it. But we do need this fixed.

I tried everything, but still isn’t working.

I hope that it will be fixed with the future pack that will come today.
