Guild Wars 2

Ok,I’ve sent this to support, but I thought I should put it in here as well,just in case.

I moved from my home to dorm. At home, I had no problems with login recently at all, but I can’t login now that I’m in dorm. I’m using dorms internet connection for which I had to install some SecureW2 thingy they gave me.

When I try to login,it says it cannot gain access to login server and that it is often result of firewall or security application (Errorcode 42.0.9001)
I can surf the internet and do logins in other games with no problems at all.

Anyone knows what might be the problem and how to solve it?

Talk with the net admin of the dorm. They will have to give you access. In a lot of cases the ports needed are blocked. Guild Wars 2 requires TCP ports 80, 443, 6112 and port 6600 inbound/outbound.
