Guild Wars 2

After the 22th March update, I started getting this problem. I have tried the solutions that are listed here: https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/93290408-Problems-Downloading-or-Patching , I tried with the Google DNS and the MCONFIG but without any success. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m now getting this after the “new build” was released a minute ago. I can’t log in anymore.

This sucks really really hard, I’m going to miss my dailies now.

I am also having this problem.

Same for me as well connection error(s) detected retrying. Never got this error msg before this patch came out.

Same here, on both of my computers. I thought it was initially a network error, as I live in an apartment building, but guess not.

I am also having this same problem. Last night after the update my launcher worked fine. However, ever since the second time I opened the launcher (earlier today), all I get is the same message “Connection Error(s) Detected. Retrying…”. If I restart the launcher, then it just goes straight to this message.

I have tried all the solutions that are listed in the link MAPO.5274 posted, but to no avail. At this point I can only hope that it fixes itself or that anet releases a new patch that fixes it.

Same issues here. But it was working fine about half an hour ago.

I get the same thing. It was working last night. But now it’s boned.

I’m getting the same error. Was planning on getting my last PvP match to advance my Daily League Participator before reset. Guess that’s not gonna happen…

Same as everyone else here. Tried on 2 different pc and neither will connect. Did all the regular things. Reset router, reset pc ect.

Same here. It was fine until 5 mins ago when the new build came up.

Was logged in and playing, then logged out for the patch, and now Connection Error. It’s obviously not my system or connection.

Yup, it worked fine last eve for me – 11 pm eastern. The first time I tried to log on today was 10 mins ago, and I got this funky connection error(s) detected. Retrying…

And, literally a couple of seconds after pressing send on the post above, I get a connection

Was just able to get in, so could be fixed.

Same error right now at 6:45 pm local time, though I could play just fine this morning around 7:00 am.

I just got in after a period of retrying. Logged in, but can’t zone in, so not really much change.

Got all the way in, but very slowly.

Back up guys, go ahead and get your dailies

Same here. Worked last night fine. Log in today to see the connection error.

It’s fixed now for me. Just able to get in also.

Maybe someone has to post something thing about this on the gw2 subreddit before it gets recognized

Appears to be fixed now. I just got a connection.

Yep just as everyone else is saying, I have the “Connection error(s) detected. Retrying…” message on my launcher. Hope it’s fixed soon.

phew, i thought i was going to have to get a reddit account to find out what was happening

Looks like someone figured out they tripped over the cord and plugged the server back in. =)

I do have a STRONG suggestion though: if you’re going to patch near daily reset, PLEASE just delay it until after daily reset.

Getting the same thing just happened 3/23/16 8:00 P.M. eastern.

I’ve been having this problem since the 22nd patch also. I’ve always had lag/connection issues with the game, but I’ve never had trouble downloading updates. Oddly enough, I finally got the download to work, and got into the game… 5 minutes before today’s patch hit. Now, I’m back to trying to update, and I keep getting this problem again.

I tried this, with both 80 and 443 with no success. I am still getting the issue even though it’s already March 25th. Really annoying, missed the dailies and log in rewards. I just want to play the game right now lol.

I am getting genuinely mad at this, literally none of the fixes worked for me and it didn’t fix itself either. Still can’t play the god kitten game.
