Crashing regularly
Having huge issues with support at the moment. I’ve put a ton of money into guild wars and making my main awesome and now I cannot log in with her on ANY computer without it crashing ever single time, before she even loads up into the map, so I can’t way point to any place where it might not happen. She was in lions when I disconnected and updated with the latest patch, it is obviously not my computer if it’s happening when I log in from other computers.
Game keeps not responding for me too,
It stops responding and has to be shut down by Task Manager, particularly happens in LA but has happened in instances too.
I like dungeons and Ikea.

I have the same problem, working on a solution With the support as we speak.. lets hope they can find a fix for this issue that seems to haunt many players
Yes, please fix this problem. I’ve managed to crash 3 times in under 2 hours today despite using the same settings for GW2 since beta. Also, getting the Prime Hologram to ~5% health seems to be a near guaranteed crash since it’s happened to me every time since the last quick patch.
For me this has been happening since the last patch (couple of days ago)
get about a half hour in before I’m dumped to desktop.
Over and over again.
Have been away over a year because of this. Running the same NVIDIA GeoForce 9800GT 1024 MB DDR3 video card, which plays perfectly fine with any other game, including the new Elder Scrolls Online Beta Events.
Even cranked down to LOW graphics, GW2 constantly goes to black screen and/or causes an outright BSOD for “system service exceptions” and “page faults”. This seems to happen mostly when I am near rock formations or underground only.
I’d like to play this game more and invest in it more, but unplayable is still….unplayable.

Is there any point to submitting a specific TICKET for this issue? Can Tech actually work with you for a detailed fix? I have never had to do a tech ticket for GW2 and am unsure of WHERE or WHEN to do so.
Or is this just a “known issue” that is being looked at in general?

This is not a known issue. There’s a number of different reasons why you may be crashing and so in order for us to better assist you one on one, I highly recommend creating a support ticket in regards to this issue.

New to GW2 Forums, so it was unclear if this was a general issue or not. I’ll get a ticket going on this.
I have to say, a LOT of the issues I was having with GW2 a year ago seem to be fixed, and I’m excited to get back into the game now. Well, except for jumping puzzles and Norn physiology… =P
