Yup, issue is back. Played for 5 hours flawless. Shame it stopped working, had nice fights going in EB and everyone knows the queue times.

…There we go again. Just DCed and can’t log back in because of the login server, supposedly. Was working fine during the day.
What the heck’s been going on for the last few days? Belgians can’t play properly anymore?
This is a diagnostic report i did. You can clearly see it often says: ‘connect failed’
Looks like 60% of those servers fail to connect? any idea, explanation or fix coming up ANet??

Got back in but the server lag is crazy :/
now it’s back working for me. REally want a decent explanation why it’s so freaking this connection. If it is becuz of the megaserver no problem but a message before would ease a lot

Ugh, started again indeed. I was about to start a fractal as well. I’m once again held hostage in Gendarran Fields. If I WP or go to a different map/instance I get dced again.
Support seems to believe it’s on our (my) end, but I sincerely doubt both telenet and belgacom suddenly felt like blocking the ports necessary.
Confirmed working. It’s an issue that comes and goes.. but when it happens, we can’t login for a few hours.. when we swap maps/instances, we DC.
I hope it’s an issue that can be resolved, my ISP already said they cannot do anything about this, which essentially means they wont help us lol.
If it’s not on Anet’s end either.. we may be screwed -_-"
The strange thing is that the guild wars 2 main site is also unaccessable when the log in servers are but the forums are still accessable.
Indeed I can log in again. Not that it matters. I missed all arah and fractal runs today because of this. Pfff, what an annoying error. If this is related to maintenance or their megaserver at least they could’ve given us a heads up…
I keep getting this error as well and it’s extremely annoying.
I will get dc from the game and then can’t log back in for a random amount of time. It has happened yesterday and multiple times today…
I am also in Belgium with Belgacom as an ISP. Internet works fine, I am still on Teamspeak with the other players, it’s just the game that won’t let me long back in.
Always happens when I am playing WvW but then that’s pretty much all I’ve been doing so…

I’m disappointed… I was connecting at 6am (UCT +1, Brussels) and I’m disconnected again (after 40 minutes). So boring…
I hope this bug will be fix quickly.

Got to play a bit yesterday between constant disconnects – spent more time trying to log on than actually playing.
logged this morning 08:30 Belgian time, got about 20 mins and same old crap as yesterday
heading to work now but will try again in the afternoon. Hopefully by then Anet will have woken up
And it got worse could play a little yesterday today cant even launch the game Ofc also from Belgium and Telenet user.

This is NOT restricted to Telenet users but seems mainly to hit Belgian based, irrespective of provider. Checked with my guildies yesterday on the odd occasion I could log and all the Belgian based ones were having issues, those from the Netherlands, Germany, UK and some further afield didn’t seem to have the issue. Some that changed IP address managed to log, effectively conning the system into believing they were not in Belgium.

I was able to play yesterday eve for about an hour and then i got kicked out.
I just got to the character screen but then the error showed up again, i kinda expected it to work now since a lot of (if not all) (Belgian) people are involved.
Edit: Also i can only acces the forums but not the guildwars 2 site itself

Managed to get back in but like yesterday the server lag is crazy.
I don’t think it has anything to do with providers. I just said I was expecting Anet to solve the problem already but then again… it was a sunday for them too. we should get a response today.

I was already thinking that it was fixed since my brother can play aswell.
It was fixed yesterday for 5 hours or so. Don’t get your hopes up.
It’s been working for a few hours now.. but it probably isn’t fixed, it’s a problem that comes and goes, so weird. :/
This problem seems to be very location specific as it only affects Belgium players. It seems to me something goes wrong in the routing to the game servers between Belgium and wherever the GW2 login servers are. Unless AreneNet uses specific login servers for Belgium (which they probably don’t) it does not seem an issue on their side. Most likely somewhere the routing between Belgium internet providers and the ArenaNet servers goes wrong. And that is something the Belgium providers can solve much better than ArenaNet.
So if you have this issue again ask your provider to do something. Let them check the traffic between their servers and the ArenaNet servers. The fact that it impacts several (Belgium) providers makes me believe that the issue is between the big Belgium internet hub (wherever that is) and ArenaNets servers.
I’m getting sick of these connection issues. Every day, ANet server must be very unstable. I saw many threads, in many forums… MANY GUYS having the same issue.
I’m from Brazil, bought the game a week ago, and I cannot play. This is something to get really frustrated. Tryed everything, and nothing could fix these problem, and the same to most of you. ANet must say something and work on something. This is boring and annoying. Sorry I had to post my feeling.
I’ve just a call from Telenet they runned a test and it’s not there end it’s at anet side.
Belgian here, I have been getting the exact same error. But on top of that I have been receiving the worst laggs I’ve experienced in this game yet, people running into walls for 20 s+ with intervalls. I have rebooted everything, re-installed gw2 and forwarded the right ports on my router, all without result sadly. It has been game breaking and support seems as clueless as me so far.
Today i couldn’t run the diagnostic and repair tool becuz of ni internet connection. Suddenly i switch to the main modem for no reason and it works. So pll that have issues and work with a second router attached to their main, try connecting to main if possible. I’m reinstalling game now and I’ll see what happens next

I’ve been having no problem the whole evening so chances are there was no issue to begin with other than your own connection failing. I just hope that whatever routing error there was, it’s been fixed now…
Although I hold my breath for 21:30 because that’s when the error reappeared on saturday and sunday. =/
Been happening to me again for the last few days, my internet is fine but from time to time I’m completely unable to visit guildwars2.com and the log-in servers for couple of minutes to hours. Kind of annoying that this is still happening.

This has been happening to me too since yesterday. I managed to play last night but kept losing connection, and every time I had to wait 10-15 minutes before I could log back in (and in the meantime I got error 42:1000:7006:1322), and it’s happening again right now

Hiya, I tried changing my DNS address it the meantime and it seems to be stable now.
I’ve put it on 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
I’ve tried this and it seems to work (I managed to log in at least) using this tutorial
