Is anyone else getting errors trying to connect to log-in servers tonight? I havn’t played since the game came out, and just updated it. When I try to connect I get the “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time….” error.

Not sure if its me or the server, all the “is it up” sites say that the servers are responding to a ping, but not sure if there is an ArenaNet site that has better information about this.

EDIT: Well i put myself in the DMZ, I was able to download the patch, and I can log in to other MMO’s. I have even turned off anti-virus and windows firewall and set it to run as admin.

The fact that no one is responding makes me think the issue is only on my side though. Not sure if there is a known issue I am not aware of or what.

SOLVED: Cuz im dumb. PeerBlock.exe did not quit correctly and was hung in the process list. That was the issue.

Well I cannot get to even log-in screen after patch. Game crashes with following information:

I can’t login right now at least, but I can normally log in without issues.

I got kicked just now as I tried to change characters and can’t get back in, guess the log-in servers are down

Having some trouble here aswell, no idea what it can be.

Logged in to Gendarran Fields, no problems. Zoned to Lion’s Arch. Crash.

Now I can’t get in..

Seems like it may not be my problem but on the server side. I was playing ok this PM.

A friend of mine just got kicked when traveling to Lions Arch from Overflow and now he’s got the same problem

I’m in the same boat, not letting me log in, game crashed as i was gating from eb to la.

Crashed while trying to enter CoF.
Can’t log in at all now. Asked my boyfriend for help, he logged out and can’t log back in. The same error:

I was just playing the game and it got stuck so i tried to re-log now it says something about firewall or router but i have been playing the game fine till now hmmm whats up are the servers down or something??

Same here, although there has been a same problem of getting client crashes when going into Character Selection.

The forum’s going to overload now with disconnected people. ;p

i also can’t log in, after having an error at the BLT i restartet the game to see if the “unable sell” error was still there but instead i wasn’t even able to login

which probably means that log in server is down but world servers are up XD
(in the same boat as everyone else)

haha I just reached CoF for the first time, got into an explorable group immediately even without trying story mode, thought I’d be farming a nice amount of Karma, and BANG, disconnected lol.

Now I’m unable to log in at all.

Can’t login either…

If we are all down it has to be a game/server error. hope they get it up and running soon..

yes i get the same thing purchashed game today and now i got kicked and says something about server unable to log in due to firewall or other things but ive made no changes to my computer and it tells me this error.
