Your friend’s email account may be compromised, and the usurper is confiscating the responses from CS. Or, your friend’s email provider may have issues with allowing mail from ArenaNet. Here are some helpful threads:

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Not-Getting-Our-E-mails-Hotmail-Yahoo-Gmail-Comcast/first#post3938439

Also, your friend should not create duplicate tickets for the same issue, and would best be served by closing one out and only updating the original. And, your friend would post his ticket number in the pertinent Sticky at the top of the page for ‘Tickets 3 Days and Older’ for review.

Good luck.

1. Then you can post in the Sticky for him.

2. Just respond in the duplicate email stating that it is a duplicate and to refer all responses to the original ticket number.

Good luck.

There is no email to respond to.

literally he said he put the ticket in and nothing came about.

All the more reason to think his email account is compromised. He can create a new unique email account (one that isn’t one of those with issues with ArenaNet) with 2-step verification, and try contacting CS, again.

His email is secured with 2 step authentication. In fact no one besides him has accessed his email accounts. Only his IP has been on the account.

Either way hopefully someone from Anet will read this

Did you actually read what Inculpatus cedo posted? You have to post the ticket in the sticky thread for Anet to see it and look into it for your friend. They can’t look at every single posted thread (it’s just not possible as many of the threads are filled with useless dribble) when they have a place set up to escalate issues.

After a week of zero replies and seeing people getting responses rather quickly I will tend to post in more than 1 place to make sure it gets read.

Also a thread made about the issue allows other users who may have had the same experience share what they went thru/had success with.

I really feel for my friend he’s been literally unable to play for the last week due to getting hacked.
