Friend lost his serial code.
The only way to get this information is to contact Customer Support. They will let him know what information they need to establish that he is the rightful owner of the account. There is a stickied thread in this forum on how to open a ticket.
I’ve directed him to it and told him to save his serial code somewhere offline. Thank you.
