959206 We replied on Wednesday, check your filters and spam folders. The name censor is staying in place because… well; Crit Toris. Suspensions are only placed on name censors when you try to use alternate spellings more than 5 times. It looks as though the suspension lifts in approximately 5 hours from now.

My friend is asking for another review. You cant terminate peoples accounts just like that, especially when they never ever used any third party programs. Let me kindly remind you that your system is far away from perfect and the bug in your system a year ago (when many accounts were terminated) totally proves it.
As I see tickets 920565 and 876771 have the same problem.

Let me kindly remind you that your system is far away from perfect and the bug in your system a year ago (when many accounts were terminated) totally proves it.

Concerning tickets: 87549, 87864, 88808
All of these pertain to the same issue, an account hack and character deletion. I had submitted a couple of tickets prior to these and received expedient responses. For this issue, I received no response in a couple of days, hence the subsequent tickets. It has been over 3 days since the initial ticket with no response.
I’m having an issue doing the mobile auth for my account. I had it setup, got a new phone… forgot to unlink it on my old phone so now I can’t play the game as it’s asking me for my phone. I am writing this on a computer that has been trusted… My ticket ID is -
963938:Remove Mobile Auth From My Account
I do have another ticket open, I thought I just wasn’t getting replies.

Hello, my husband (Ticket 958313 sent in October 13) has gotten a reply saying that they released his account from ban after they refunded him for his copy of GW2, they recommended to continue on the account to buy another copy with the serial number and apply it to his account. He has done this yet the banned response still remains error code: 45:6:3:2126 . Any help so that he can continue playing would be greatly appreciated.

These are for GW1. I realize these are forums for 2, but didn’t know if the support departments were separate and I had received no reply. Is there a forum similar to this for GW1?

Originally submitted a ticket regarding compromised account, was wondering why i wasnt recieving any help, then i looked in sent mail and not only was my gw2 account compromised but email was as well as someone had emailed anet saying “i no longer need help with this isue”. so i submitted a second ticket and then received a reply to my first ticket saying “Happy that your issue is resolved” lol. Hopefully anet can distinguish between the two.

Hi there. I’m posting on behalf of my friend since his account was compromised and the email or password was changed, he has no access to the gw2 forums since he can’t log in but does have a mobile authenticator. My friend tried the account recovery system however after typing in all the necessary details it ended up with an “An error has occurred. I wrote this ticket 3 days ago and have since updated with a new problem (I’m getting the “Account Blocked Due To Unacceptable Behaviour” thing, with no countdown.) It’s odd that this is the case as there was no notification of a ban or block, plus I haven’t physically played in months, which is explained in the emails that follow the original ticket.

It has been 3 days. She submitted a ticket on Sunday.
Mobile Authentication. She had no problem for years.. Till her CELLPHONE Crashed and it Deleted all the APPS. The phone Factory Reset its own and loose all the application that is installed. Now… She is cant log in to game since you need “Code”. She try to Re-Install the Application but you have to get to code from Gw2 Settings. She cant log in either because its asking for CODE.
She been waiting and not playing for Days. Days off pain watching me having fun while she is depress and cant play. She love this game more than i do. And i actually not care waiting 1-2-3weeks if it happen to me. But gizz.
The best solution is Manually go into her Account, DISABLE the GOOGLE AUTHENTICATION then we can work the rest. Please. We have been playing since Beta. Please take a look at it.

Hello, I recently contacted support over an account issue and did recieve a response but still wish to atleast try an appeal as i am really disheartened with the response. I’ll be a bit more thorough since i was more to the point in my ticket. I understand protocols and what not, but i still feel i should explain it further and have a shred of hope i dont need to start over.

Since Prelaunch, my husband and I have invested a lot of hours into this game (combined 7500 hours roughly) since we started at prelaunch. We have two children, one with severe behavioural difficulties and medically labelled intellictually kittened. This makes it so we cant go out much and so we rely on gaming to atleast give us a break and relax from the real world together.
Several days ago though, After a late night of gaming, my husband let me sleep in, and my special needs son snuck onto the computer and was able to access the game, by pressing enter since gw2 doesn’t log you out automatically. He decided to “make mommies game prettier” by pressing the delete button and typing out what it says to type. Every single toon on my account was deleted, along with my salvagematic and the original 3 unlimited gathering tools on one of the toons. Each character was remade as a random class with “pretty hair”, and the names mostly gibberish.
You see our son with disabilities adores the game, where he can change armour and change its colours and join in what he calls “spvpv” where he runs around (with chat box closed thankfully) watching the circles change colours. We use the game as a reward for good behaviour and sit next to him as he plays, but we learnt pretty quickly he just doesn’t understand what to not do, so we got him his own account, after he found crafting stations and used our t6 mats -__- We normally enter his account information in after we log out just in case, but i was very tired that night and didnt fully quit the game. The end result is this.
I opened a ticket for account issues and got the response that no unauthorized access happened, and to not give people my log in information, so a roll back could not occur. I did not give my log in information to anyone, my husband doesn’t even know the password to my account. I did not claim my account was hacked or anything, i was just hoping for the one time account rollback that the knowledge base says exists.

Unfortunately, any time in the past, when someone has not secured their account, and family members/friends/etc. have accessed said account and done whatever harm, there has been no change in policy.
As much as it is difficult (I, too, have special needs children) to accept, changing the policy for one player would necessitate changing it for all, and that would just be unhealthy for the game, overall.
Condolences on your loss.
970050 – follow up on this pls. My friend hasn’t received any emails from you yet. Also – i saw his hacked account still enabled and going online yesterday. Can we please disable it while you are investigating to avoid further impact to anyone.
