The Account Management page is not the same as Guild Wars 2 Support. You are to use the Account Management page to reset your password only if your two accounts are linked. It states very clearly to contact the Guild Wars Support Team for assistance if your accounts are not linked.
Here is the link you can use to contact that Support Team: https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new?ticket (Make sure to choose ‘Original Guild Wars’ on the drop-down menu option)

Ticket #1124392, 3 days old no response that wasn’t automated.
Twice now I’ve killed triple wurm (on different days, only times I’ve killed him in the past week) without getting the bouncing daily chest, only the chest on the beach and the champ bag from the legendary wurm head corpse. I’ve been in zerg not in reflect or condi teams so I’ve been doing damage to the wurm itself so I should definitely be receiving credit, I’m getting event credit and as I said, the champ bag.
I"m just not getting the daily reward where you get all the things like ascended armor.
Just telling me to “kill it again, better luck next time” isn’t going to fly too because as we’re seeing, even killing it again I’m not getting it. Somehow my account is bugged and it needs fixed.
The kills were done on 2 different characters as well.
Me my nephew and my husband were playing this game together here. While playing my husband and nephew were booted out of the game. They both tried to log back in and for what ever reason there accounts were suspended for an account issue. Contacted support on the 8th and no reply…. Very upsetting

1102695 Display names can take some time to update, especially for accounts with a large volume of friends/blocks/follows
But my display name isn’t what was changed. My email was. But on the forum under my display name when I’m not in a thread shows my old email.
I also have a small number of people on my friends, followers, and blocked lists.
That’s…. odd. I’ll take a closer look.
Mike, myself and a friend of mine who requested e-mail changes have the same problem. Our old e-mails are displayed on our forum id’s in the upper right, not the updated e-mail. If I were to hazard a guess, it’s happened to a lot of other as well, it just hasn’t been thought of as a forum bug.
If you successfully changed the email that you use to access the game, it will not automatically change the email that is displayed on the forums. These two things are strangely separate from each other, despite the fact that you use your new email to log-in. To fix this, you must manually input your new email.
I hope that fixes what you are talking about.

It goes like this:
Me and my friend bought accounts at roughly the same time somewhere after the game launched. We both took a break at some point and i came back and started playing a few months back.
However, his issue is horrible. He used to play, took a break wanted to come back with me, when suddenly we couldn’t rememmber his nickname in the game, okay we found it no problem.
Then we wanted to login, again a problem, the mobile phone which had the app fell from and he tossed it since it was broken and didn’t work anymore. We filed a ticket but its been about 2 weeks now, no reply.
We do have everything needed to prove the account is his, like cd key and name of character etc..
Can we get some help with this please?:/

Well, a ticket number for Michael to look up would be helpful.
Keep in mind he did post a day or so ago that his responses may take some time, even up to Monday of next week (1-19).

How can he proceed? All he needs to do is reset his password so that he can login.

I came back here to simply say thank you to the Customer Support for helping resolve my ticket issue. Hopefully this post is acceptable?
I am posting on behalf of my hubby who was playing 3 days ago and was booted and account was suspended for account issues. He sent in 2 tickets and has yet to receive a non automated reply. (He made a mistake on the first one as we recently moved and he did not recognize our new IP being listed on his account.) Ticket #s are 1146392 and 1147921. Be aware…submitting duplicate tickets resets your place in the queue. You would be better served by closing all duplicates, and updating the original ticket.

He stopped playing GW2 long time ago, and now he wants to start playing again, but he dont remember password & character name. Only ID I was able to check because I have him on “friends list”.
When he was clicking “reset password” he get info that some problem occured and to contact support.

no worries, they are all different and not duplicates.
Posting for another since he does not have access to forums for some reason. Ticket #1146680 is 3 days old. He received the initial response. He has replied to several times with information but has no reason why he is suspended. Would appreciate a response as soon as you can manage.

What should I do? resend a ticket or only post here? I am kinda frustrated about the situation and also that the daily log in reward progressed without me picking up (or getting) that 28th day.

What might have happen is that maybe you logged on another char,and you didn’t open the chest on that char,cause maybe you wanted to open it on another one,but the chest remains on the first char u login in that day,and that might have be the issue.I’m saying this cause it happened to me and i was like wth,where is my chest,it might not be the same case tho.

Allow me to clarify. This thread is used for Guild Wars 2 tickets and anything involving Guild Wars 1 (including linking) is something that I can’t answer for you. It’s simply a matter of my not being trained in how Guild Wars accounts work.
Where would one go to for assistance then? :) My GW1 Ticket was submitted 13 days ago. I reentered another ticket because I’m a terrible person about 9 days ago. Regardless, I understand there is a lot of commotion going on. I would still appreciate seeing this matter taken care of, I just would like to know where to go to get assistance. Thank you!

This new thread is intended for you to use to follow up on support issues that have been filed with support but have not been resolved in three days or more. This thread may also be used when you have questions about the resolution of a ticket, although please keep in mind that agents use care in responding and it’s very seldom that an appeal here will result in a different outcome.
Please allow the team time to resolve issues before posting here, so don’t submit a ticket and post, but rather follow-up if the ticket needs a review after it’s been in the queues for three days or more.
