Hello, ticket # 1115557. Since Jan 4th. 48 days. I can’t make any purchases through the NC Store for Guild Wars 1; it continuously says “Payment Authorization Failed,” even though I have tried with multiple forms of payment and have also tried from another computer. Please help me so I can give you my money.
Are you trying to purchase from this site (as the store was moved a couple of times, and uses Digital River now)?

Request #1267228 – I’d really appreciate some help on this ticket. Been banned from Guild Wars 1 on all four of my accounts for ‘Use of a Third Party Program’, but the programs I’ve used (Multilaunch, Texmod, Dressup) are all allowed as far as I’m aware. I miss playing.

My Mom had that issue a while back. When they shifted to the new system something got glitched and it would simply not accept any payment from her. Tech support got involved, probably flipped a setting in her account, and she could make purchases after that.

Hi,
Posting on behalf of boyfriend who has been experiencing a potential incident of cyberstalking, as the support response has been inadequate.
Revealing of personal information by another user that could not have been acquired in game is a privacy problem. It is also harassment and shows the user has been engaged in some in-depth research. It may look harmless to an unaware GM, but frankly it isn’t.
Ignoring some primitive bad mouthing/false accusations I can understand (although it’s part of cyberstalking behaviour and thus shouldn’t be), ignoring the privacy issue, not so much.I’d like to see incidents of online stalking taken serious by support, as it is not a trivial matter. Sometimes it’s nothing, other times it can go south pretty fast. The behaviour is at the very least concerning.
In addition to the info he provided, we’ve recently seen his brothers account potentially get compromised (now secured, may be related, may be a coincidence-timing was odd). Happy to discuss the surrounding circumstances in private, for obvious reasons.

Except that person- who is a complete stranger- is revealing information, specifically the victim’s ethnicity and exact location, down to the city, in map chat.
Pretty sure that isn’t information that just randomly comes up in an argument between two strangers who never spoke before or that a random stranger in a game should even have access to without anything further, am I wrong?
I’ll get him to message you some more specific details, like where we suspect this is originating from, if that’s okay.

Yep, that’s what I’d need. The last info supplied just pointed to an argument. We need small time-frames to look through. The more pointed the better.

Sent 34 days ago. Would really appreciate a reply. Tried to change my password after having not played for a long period of time, but every time I try it says I need to contact support to change it. I have both my account and my email account secured with 2-step verification by way of phone, so there’s no way my account could’ve been hacked.
Not a fan of people who have posted tickets recently are getting replied to, yet those of us with tickets 30 days+ are receiving nothing.

I do however feel that these perma bans in alot of cases were unjustified.
I have had an issue for more than 10 days now. I get regular emails from support but all of them are trivial and useless. Just recently when I rudely asked them to get me in touch with someone who actually dealt with bugs rather than connectivity issues they forwarded my request to someones whose advise is to submit an in game ticket. I have submitted 3 in game tickets but have not received any feedback or reply. This is made worse by the fact that I contacted the support for a minor issue they ended up breaking the game for me. Every email i got has been towards connectivity when I REPEATEDLY told them its NOT A CONNECTIVITY ISSUE. And whats with the support staff changing every third email? every time someone new comes and practically gives a tried old supposed solution as if they got it from a book? request number is 1264250 .Please get someone who knows that actual problem to deal with this issue because I don’t want to go through another 10 days of useless emails.

This is a post for my wife’s account, I am posting for her due to the fact she is unable to log in to her account since the account had been compromised some time ago after taking a break from the game. We have followed and taken all the steps to prevent further issues (including the suggestions from the initial response in the ticket) but have since heard nothing back from them stating that the authentication has been removed as requested.
