suddenly, I can’t play gw2 anymore. Every time I try to start the game it says “connection error(s) detected. Retrying”. My security program is Panda antivirus, can this be the cause? and if it is, how can I solve this?

If you think it is causing the issue, you can temporarily disable to test.

Run game advisor and look at the log if the connection test to servers passes.

but I don’t know how to disable my antivirus -__- can’t find any button that says stop running or anything like that

I’m quite noob with computers… so I have absolutely no idea how to fix this

can anyone please help because i’m losing my patience and I didn’t buy this game to try to connect every time

Also having a similar issue. Attempted to go to char selection, got a black screen, alt+f4’d and now can’t log back in. No setup changes were made on my own end.

Error Code: 42:6:3:2060

So I was sitting in Lion’s arch when my queue popped to leave overflow. When i took it, I was disconnected, and got the following error code:

42:6:3:2060 Build 16541

When I try to reconect I get the same code. Are the login servers down? Anyone else having this issue?

Aha, I checked Twitter but they must have put up the message just after I checked.

“We are currently aware of the server issues and are in the process of investigating. Thank you for your patience. ^ET”

Could it be a problem with the servers?

Also ran into this issue. No changes to any security etc. I just closed it, came back, opened it and ran into the error. Same type as Acetllim mentioned.

I’m guessing it’s server side.

It is working now! At least I can login at this time.

Same as mine… Disable both my AVG and Windows firewall, but does not resolved it.

I was going to tequatel and got kicked in the middle of loading =[

Maybe they couldnt log into their own forums either? :P until JUST now i couldn’t login to neither the forums nor the game

Agree with Amos. Post on the forums or even a little blurb on the news section of the launcher, not on some third party site for the love of all that’s Holy!

working now as soon as I post here… weird

I just logged in and I had just hit level 60, it took me back to the beginning of level 59 and reset alot of the hearts, vistas, skillpoints and such i completed. WTF?!

I tried logging in this morning and got the same error. I tried multiple times already and it still doesn’t work. Did you do anything to fix it Runcajsz?

I agree ANET should use their own websites as Twitter is sometimes blocked in some circumstances.

Yup, back up and rolled back. A level lower than when I crashed.

Very strange, as soon as I log in here, all the problems evaporate….kinda strange.

Had same issue as well. Character had been rolled back to right before I did my last instance.

Logged in and got rolled back. 4 gold disappeared from my inventory..

Im stuck on the game screen ‘Connection Error’s detected. Retrying…’ then it tries to download but doesnt work. cant even get passed this part to login to the game

well games up and running but guess they did a roll back because i have lost ascended ring i worked so hard to get and pristine relic ty anet

Same here, even get passed the guild wars when its downloading or patching.

It is supposed to be fixed now, but It still says connection error(s) detected, I don’t know if this is because my server (underworld) hasn’t been fixed yet, or if the problem still is here because of my computer.

if it worked before, why would it be your computer? my game was working perfectly before i logged off yesterday, now i cant seem to connect to the login screen so problem with the server’s since its trying to download something… and fails

Since yesterday I have this problem, too. Random dc´s and when trying to login again it says: “connection error(s) detected. Retrying”
Also when I change maps i get booted again and again. Was really looking foward to monday, but at the moment I cant even play….

restarted router and worked.

Happened to me too, we JUST finished a path in catacombs when we all got kicked, fine , fair enough, we were thankful we finished and it would be fine. Logged back in and everything we had done and got was just not there. Looks like whatever it was they did had it roll back? Q_Q

I’ve already sent in a ticket, but last night I was disconnected and also saw part of my progress reset when I logged back in.

None of my friends I was partying had this happen, though.
