So i came on this morning, had 1g 22silver and some copper, went offline after 40 min of playing, came back on this evening and i noticed i only had 86 copper left .. So far as i know, no one has accessed my account. Fix this please, the game aint fun losing all of my gold all the time

yeah i having the same issue i had 1 gold plus silver and copper and i go into a duegeon and come out with only 19 silver. this is crap

i also have some gold missing
i sold an rare item on the TP for just over 6 gold and had a few gold in my inv already say 3g
but logging in last night and i have only 3 gold
havnt bought anything major or anything that would cost 6g :/
it just seems to have disappeared

Just logged in now missing all my gold except 24 copper what’s going on with missing cash?. I have checked my transactions and haven’t got any odd ones.

Lost 37gold by a hacker and was told by GM Lloyd that the support staff wants to follow Diablo3’s business strategy by not restoring gold or items to the players no matter the circumstances…

I have also had this issue and reported it as an account hack even though I didn’t see any external connections listed. I would love to have a look at the log files on my account to see what happened to my missing gold and items. A substantial amount went missing, but everything wasn’t taken…

no point hopping the missing gold will be recover by to you, received email from them that they are unable to restore missing characters or items
so what we can do is to pray that it will not happen again

Just disappeared about 5 gold from inventory while PvEing… without doing nothing…

I have same problem everything was fine last night 09/09/2012, had a problem logging in this morning 10/09/2012 so I changed my password just in case.

Once I had successfully logged in I realised that I was missing 1 gold and cant account for its disappearance, I know its not as much as some have reported but it pretty much cleared me out.

Clearly I am not the only one it seems.

Just logged in after not playing since Thursday September 6th and now have no money and lost the 65 silver I had in the bank. It is entirely unacceptable if they cannot remedy this issue, especially if it was done because of my account being hacked. The mods in Warhammer were easily able to fix issues like this and I expect more from the time I have invested to get to this point than a “Sorry, can’t help you”.

Edit: So it looks like I was moved to a French European server and when I transfered back to Fort Aspenwood where I originally started, I now have 13 copper. WTF?

Same, lost all my gold and all my items that werent soulbound. Really sucks and hopefully they can give it back if not this is bullkitten

Not a victim of the trading post (I don’t think), but I just had my account restored to me after being hacked for near a week and a half. I now have a few copper to my name and would like the almost 2 gold I had back if at all possible. Would sure make getting to my storyline quest a lot easier

I was not hacked and the money is not on another character.

I sold some stuff on the tradepost, collected the profits and logged out. When I logged back in I was missing 40s. Checked the tradepost if the money somehow returned to the pick up tab but it didn’t. Checked the bank to see if somehow the mats I sold mysteriously returned but to no avail.

However when I tried using it to buy Globs of Ectoplasm it would pause when I hit “buy”. I got no confirmation that the order was either processed or could not be completed, and the TP took no money from me or gave me no items. At first I assumed that the TP just finally got around to taking my gold for those orders.

However upon checking the TP I see no items and no gold. And thus I am now down 4g for no apparent reason.

All I know is, I better get either my money back or the Globs of Ectoplasm I was trying to buy. 4g is no easy feat for me to get.

This happened to me lost about 12gold…………..great………………hate trade post….i was logged on the entire time so no my account was not hacked.

Glad I am not the only one. I double checked my log in list. I am the only one that was logged in. How could 33 gold just disappear?!?! This was coins IN my main’s inventory. I never logged out the entire time. What is going on?

Hey, i have the same problem, i was playing and tried to buy some stuff from TP, and now i have no items, and no Gold.

I lost 1 gold the same way. Checking to see if trading post was up, suddenly my 1 gold was gone (its alot to me). I tried to buy an ecto before trading post went down, multiple times, never worked. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it, however nothing is waiting for me to pick up arm.

I lost 60 some silver today, from the trading post issues.

I just logged in, and found a whole bunch of the items I was trying to buy (I now have an inventory full of the same item.), so if you guys are missing money, I suggest checking again. Maybe you’ll find your stuff!

Yea, my globs finally appeared. Although now I have three times as many as I wanted, and no money left. And I can’t even sell them because the TP is still down.

Anet, for the love of god, add in a trade function already. Or at the very least CoD mail.

big TP failure, we all bought items from TP, the order got trough somehow (way to many times) yet we are left with no items or gold. Now you are saying we magicly put it on our alts all at the same time? like we planned this?

Dont go looking for excuses Anet, it was poor maintenance, now earn that money and fix this.

I was trying to make a buy order for carrion dragonic boots for 1 gold and 50 silver. I had 5.65 gold in inventory at that time. The trading post went down for maintance. Few minute later i was down to 1 gold and 15 silver. I concluded that it place 3 buy order for the boot before it crashed. Trading post came back on and i went to trading post asap. I only saw that it placed 1 buy order for the boots. So i removed it in hope of getting all 4.5 gold back but after clicking remove, no gold was sent back to the pick up box and the I’m buying tab of the transaction menu says no result now. I really hope you guys will fix this error. The trading post is a mess and I’ve work countless hours for those 4.5 gold.

This is a huge problem and I am aggrivated that they are shrugging it off. The auction house has stolen over 2g from me before I realized it was causing problems with delivery, also I lost 600 gems trying to buy pets but I got shafted by this. Releasing the mac today was a stupid idea, mac users don’t even play this game often and it ruined gameplay for so many of us by stealing funds and downing the auction house which makes the game stagnant.

Same problem with me. Bought several dyes, but I’m guessing it put in an order for more than what I wanted.

Got nothing back from the TP and was drained about ~10G.

I’ll wait until the TP fully comes back online, but have already written this off as a loss.

With all these issues – what I would give right now to have trading back to what it was in GW1…

Having to grind again to raise the funds for gear after losing that money from map completions…very very disheartening.

I also had 9 gold just disappeared from me, now left with just 92 silvers. I’m pretty sure I was not hacked since I used a unique long password that I only use for this game. All my items were also intact, i’m sure a hacker would have cleared/vendored all the items as well. This is a really big problem

Yep. I put in a bug report yesterday afternoon. I lost 4 gold while the TP was bugging out. It’s so wonderful that they’re refusing to refund gold lost through the TP because of their buggy code!

Tried to buy 1 item. Got a response from the TP that it failed and could not be completed. I was then booted off the game for a “network error.” Could not log back into the game for 20 minutes as the “network error” persisted. Once I did log back in, I checked the TP, saw that it was “down;” I checked the Pick Up tab and there was the item that it said I wasn’t able to buy and my inventory was shorted twice the cost of the item.

Just checked again this morning. Still at 2 gold from 35… Might have to take a long break if this doesn’t get fixed. I do not want to see 200+ hours of work and farm gone.

If you were using the TP when it went missing, check the Pick Up tab.

I had 5 gold 60 silver last night. When I logged in this morning I had 68 silver???
I tried to buy 1 gold of gems last night on the TH but it failed every time.
I checked the TH pick up tab and it says I have 10 silver and no gems.
And, no I have not been hacked. And, no it is not on another one of my 3 characters.

Lost 25g after trying to make a much smaller purchase on the TP last night. Even if I do manage to get a bunch of items out of it; I still lose out trying to resell them to regain my gold. Blah.

I’m missing some gold logged on today after using the TH and now my gold is gone, seems to be a common thing today… Also I have nothing in my pickup tab.

Tried putting in an offer of 10g for The Chosen of Rage but it would not go up. I ended up clicking it multiple times and a few hours later, after the trading post went down, I was missing the 30g I had in my inventory. Once it was back up, I removed the offers but did not receive the 30g back. Moments later the trading post went down again. I’m really hoping to have it back once this is sorted out. :S

Same issue here, I tried buying items from the tradepost when it was up at 3-4 this morning, kept getting a bug so I gave up. I log back on and all my gold is gone. Got no items either :/

I had a guardian character named Crabzy and I deposited about 50s in my bank and then deleted the character and made a new norn guardian named crabzy as well and then the game wouldn’t let me log in, I guess this happened during the roll back. So now I have my new guardian but the 50 silver is missing from my bank.

I just checked the trading post and most of my money, along with multiples if items I tried to buy yesterday, are there for pickup now.

I am adding my case of missing gold.. I really thought I was the only one. Over 3 weeks ago now I logged in to find I was missing approximately 1 gold. I first thought I was hacked and in my ticket regarding this we(Anet and I) discovered my account WAS secure. Thats where the customer service ended though. I wanted it to be looked into so that others wouldnt lose money. I know I didnt buy anything on accident.. my gameplay during this time period was very limited to what I could have purchased. There is simply nothing worth this much off vendors in by now I forget if it were Queensdale or Kessex Hills. Also since the TP was still down then… you get the picture.

As you know earlier today the trading post was buggy, and for me it was not processing buy orders, now i tried to place a custom buy order but it did not respond and did not deduct my gold despite numerous tries, so i logged off for work assuming that i would try to place the order again when i got back from work.
Now imagine my horror when i got back and found that from the 8+ gold i had at the start of the day that i now only had 1 gold remaining in my inventory and lots and lots of the item that i thought had unsuccessfully been customed ordered and is sitting in my pick up tab, way more than i had originally intended to purchase.
This leads me to assume that despite not giving me a successful message, and not deducting my gold, that the order had been registered anyway.
Is there a way to rectify this situation? Because i certainly did not intend to blow 7 gold ( may not be alot to some of you but i just reached 80 barely a few days ago) on these items

I lost 20 gold this morning, I am 100% sure I was not hacked, my Guild Wars 2 and email password are both unique (I do not use them on any other website). I also have email authentication enabled and nobody has attempted to login to my account. I also do not use any alternate characters or have ever deposited gold into the bank. I put in some orders yesterday while the trading post was briefly up but none of them went through, I am going to take a wild guess and say that the orders managed to go through this morning which is why I lost the gold. I am really hoping this is the case so that I can retrieve it all when the TP is back up.

I hate to say it but if the TP is acting funny, don’t try to place an order more than once (some of you state that you did this). Perhaps the TP is only very slow and multiple orders eventually DO get processed, resulting in an over purchase.

I know this doesn’t apply to all the posts in the forum but it might explain some of the problems that some of you are having.

So suddenly I’m just missing some gold.. TP is down so I know I didn’t buy anything. Here’s everything I did.

Had 5g54s
Deposited 1g to bank. Leaves me with 4g54s.
Go craft 12 greens to throw into mystic forge. Buy 6 silk threads totaling 28s80c.
Do nothing else but craft those items with mats I already had. Throw items into forge.
Fail miserably and still have 3 greens, craft 1 more to try 1 more time. Still green. Salvage item with rage.
Goto vendor to sell junk, notice I have 2g81s65c.
Wonder who broke math.

Where could my money have gone?? I attempted to buy some stuff hours ago on TP but got errors and none ever completed before it went down again. Issue maybe?

Please promptly develop proper admin tools for yourselves and then find where my moneys went please

PS: Am I an idiot for trying to craft my own greens to forge into a rare or does this only work with green drops? I got 2 forged rares out of looted armor and weapons earlier and then I make 12 master armor items and all give me greens back
