Guild Wars 2

My headset sound will not work i have trouble shot everything i can think of unplugging repairing the client making sure i have the right device making sure that my sound mixer is not muted everything and i can not get it to work. My headset works for other things that i am using it is just not working for Guild wars 2. If i switch to my monitor the sound works but it will not work when it is coming through my headset please help me i would like my sound back.

First, this is assuming that you have your headset properly configured and are using Razer’s software.

There is a problem with Razer’s configuration software, Synapse. If I remember correctly, besides simply uninstalling Synapse, one of the fixes was to open your playback devices (right click audio tray icon), open the device’s properties, select the enhancements tab and either repair/restore defaults/disable all enhancements.

The other solution is to modify the registry, but I think you have to do it constantly. It was posted about here a little while ago.
