I am also experiencing this issue – A LOT, for the past few days. I haven’t had this issue before and now it’s just incredible to think that this is happening all of a sudden – with the cause being unknown. And YES. I have read the “answers” provided in the GW2’s support page. AND YES, they are not enough.

On with the topic:

If you have a game account for the original Guild Wars, can you play it?
I only have GW2.

Where are you playing Guild Wars 2 from?

Recently started playing this again on 12/10/2012. Since then i receive error 7113189101 at about 30-45 mins of gameplay. Which is kinda annoying when I’m in the middle of a story quest. Anyways, I have tried everything from port forwarding to winsock dump and would like this issue to be resolved as quickly as possible. I do enjoy this game very much and look forward to uninterrupted gameplay. Here is the format as requested:

Yes usualy stays arround 68ms latency having lag spikes there too like every 2 minutes up to 300ms latency but no disconnect

Don’t know how many time still have to post this (i think i allready posted this issue atleast 5 times since game release there where no improvement what so ever), looks like Anet just don’t care about this issue getting tired of nonsens , why not put in game a simple latency meter ? to not get flamed becouse of the crapy latency ? , don’t get me wrong i have fiber optic no router or wireless i do use many online stuff only gw2 keeps losing connection , not a single other program loses connection , and no the problem is not on my side

I receive error code: 7:1000:7006:375 when I try to login to the game.

Possible solution to this error AND to the BLTC blank window issues. (maybe others?)

Updating the ROOT CERTIFICATES from the WINXP cd (which I already installed) AND a Windows Update of the O/S to update the certificates to the December 2012 update seems to have worked.

I also update the .NET framework just in case.

Commentary: Since the post I referenced was 3 months old (just image the number of postings since then… 1000’s of them!) I had to shift through days of postings with little to NO EXPLANATION of the error code I received or the issues I was having. Considering the use of SSL and Secure network technology GW2 is using, it would be prudent to inform the customers of this in a timely manner, and suggest to them to run this simple update (takes less than 10 minutes start to finish). Im sure it will help to alleviate some of the pressure your tech teams and bug coders have AND, it would thus increase the playability and love from the community causing them to increase the profits and game play.

(not that I wish to tell anyone their business)

Generally from 6-12 weekdays, and at any time on the weekdays.
Had a recurring issue since 3 weeks ago, during the time 7-12 i am unable to gain access to lions arch and hit an error code 7 this also occurs when trying to access WvWvW (i get an error code starting with 7 during the load scree, followed by a dissconect to the character selection menu) , this problem only happens between the times of (approx) 7-11 pm i have tried to access these zones on other computers via my account and even at a different location and had no luck, i have wiped my pc to check whether my PC could be the issue and made sure it was not my firewall, i have also followed all suggestions made by the Admins on the forum, yet had no luck. I can only assume it may be a server issue or perhaps due to the server population at this time.
Another issue i encounter is the ‘unable to gain access to the log in client’ or similar, this window pops up during game play and prevents me from using the black lion trade post( says UN authorized upon opening the window for BLTP) and causes massive chat lag(messages take 2-3 minutes to appear in the chat box).

I got the game a week ago, since the first day i was experiencing lag. However, error 7 appeared from the second day on and i havent been able to play. It getsworst each day. My freinds play, who are añsp ñpcated in Panama and play in the same hours dont have this problem. Please help its really frustrating, i quited other game to play GW2 and im regreting it.

So it has been three months since the patch in November and aside from the very first post in this thread and some post by another mod named Ashley in the another thread in this forum I can’t see any official acknowledgement of this issue. Obviously it is affecting quite a few people. I would just like to see some sort of acknowledgement that they are doing something about this. As it is I love the game and would really like to be able to play it. The most frustrating part for me is that some days it will disconnect me every time I try to log in and other days it will work no problem. I have tried it at all hours of the day and night, different days of the week, and using different network connections (wireless with multiple networks and routers, hard wired Ethernet, both) so far none of this seems to have any effect. Since my game worked just fine before that November patch I am hard pressed to believe that it is on my end. I have Googled for solutions from every site that seems relevant and had no luck. As it is I bounce between so frustrated that I just stop trying to blindly hoping today is the day the internet gods favor me and keep trying every known solution in hopes that it will work.

Generally Monday to Friday I play from 19:00 to 23:00 hs. On Weekends from 19:00 pm to 1 am.

Last few days, once I was at the page of loading the game world, i needed to wait for 3mins and the code error(7:11:3:189:101) … and I believe that the problem is not with the firewall on my PC or internet connection, because I have disabled the firewall on both.

I have had the game for just about 3 weeks now. when i first got the game i had no issues. About a week ago i started noticing the disconnects happening. They have become more frequent and random. Sometimes i can stay on for a bit, others i get on walk around or attack somethings and I’m booted. I have just spent the last 2 hours going through ALL the steps on your support guide to no avail. I traced, shut down security programs, lowered firewalls, and did the port forward process. I logged in and 30 seconds later disconnected. Any information to help resolve this situation would be great.

Adding one to the others, altough I do not think you guys (ANet) realy give a crap against the issue (apperantly).

I (would like to) play from UK / London on 30 meg Virgin broadband. I have no mayor problems with other games (played RoM, Lol (here minor lagg, but still playable), WoT, TF2, etc.).

I have an ASUS KV53 laptop with (not extensive list) Win 7/Linux (dual boot, Linux is only for testing GW2), GT540M grafics card, 4 Gig of RAM, yada yada, Atheros Wifi, etc.

I bought the game about 1 week ago, and after logon I kept getting dc, so I was unable to create a caracter. I installed Linux and managed to create a caracter. Unfortunately on Linux my Nvidia/Optimus driver is not realy doing well, so even with low settings I have 10 fps, and while there is no disconnect, it is unenjoyable.

I kept trying to play on Windows, and during this weekend I managed to play constant (wohooo!) 15 – 20 minutes before the game gave me error codes (with constant laggs, freezes). I would seek your wise advice to how to extend this wooping numbers of small sessions to a few hour enjoyable playtime, but I gues you have no idea nor care. Anyway, as a person working in customer support as well, I would like to express my disapointment.

Oh yes, and if it would not be obvious, the problem is not with my net, nor my Windows. Conection is ok:
- if there would be a problem with the connection, the game would dc in Linux as well, but it does not…there the only issue is the graphics
- if the problem would be some settings/programs in my Windows 7…well I eliminated this possiblity by trying out the program on a fresh Win 7 install, with nothing but basic drivers (unfortunately I can not try this out without network driver or display driver:P), and the same disconnect is constant
-I updated the Wifi drivers, Windows, checked all ports in FW, even switched it off, tryed before installing any anti virus, so basicaly on a vanila Win 7…no avail. I wanted to test on XP as well (not compatibility mode, been there, done that, no avail), but unfortunately my laptop does not have XP drivers.

I would think the program have some issues with the Wifi driver, as it is basically often disrupts my connection. I looked into it, updated to the latest (maybe I will give a go for Win. Unfortunately I have no means to try direct cable connection and also I do not want to bother with 10 meters of RJ45 around my rented house just for one particular game to play.

You can try creating a new shortcut of GW2.exe to your desktop.
Right click on the shortcut file and add this line – /clientport 80 – at the end of the Target Field. DO NOT PLACE IT INSIDE THE QUOTES, see example below:

“D:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” /clientport 80

I had this issue as from a patch 2 weeks ago.
Tried everything i could think of and nothing improved the issue.

I was constantly desyncing, skills queuing and not firing, mobs attacking me at a different location then where i was.

Sometimes i would rubber band back to where the server thought i was after 10-20 secs (usually when i used phase retreat or blink on my Mesmer), but most of the time i would d/c with error 7.

I have just reinstalled windows with a full format to my hard-drive, installed avast antivirus and installed guild wars 2, and the problem has more or less disappeared.
I still lag now and again, but i think that’s mostly due to low signal strength and people on Facebook, than a problem with guild wars.

I know that this isn’t a very convenient fix, and may not work for others, but maybe a start for people who have lost hope.
I wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully see you in-game soon.

Edit: I am in wales, UK. Using talk talk adsl broadband and played for months without any issue at all.

Pretty ridiculous to still be having this problem. I forwarded all the proper ports. When I get the error it blows out my entire internet connection. So I would guess the GW2 servers are trying to cram too much information down our internet connections.

Game is completely unplayable for me as anytime I start doing something like an event or my lvl 3 class quest I get D/C.

@ Sebulon, exactly the same as me. No original GW, same country, and starts around the same time. Ends usually around midnight for me. Eats away just the hours I could play, wonderful.

Whitey, I did the-

You can try creating a new shortcut of GW2.exe to your desktop.
Right click on the shortcut file and add this line – /clientport 80 – at the end of the Target Field. DO NOT PLACE IT INSIDE THE QUOTES, see example below:
“D:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” /clientport 80

-thing and now I can play it, even though it still disconnects me every 10-30 minutes on a regular basis.

- Through out the day when I’m on the browsing the net, my net is stable and works perfectly. But right when I log on GW2 my net starts disconnecting every 20 minutes. Then when I log out of GW2 my net goes fine again. Whats the meaning of this….
