Hi all.

I have both PC and Laptop, both capable of running the game.

Recently I’ve started having this problem on the laptop only: game logins fast, quickly loads character selection screen and loads fast to the game world. In game world, it’s like I have a ultra, impossible lag. Minutes later, game crashes, either to a black screen or back to the character selection screen.

Again, this only happens on my laptop, and I play in the minimum settings, to reduce any kind of lag! Also it doesn’t matter where I am in the world, exacly.

Anyway, both and laptop are connected to a 50mb internet, both on wireless. All other internet servicer work top notch (downloads, streaming, etc).

I’m from Brazil, if it counts for anything.

The error I get is something about not being able to connect to the login server. Can’t remember the numer that appears.

Run a -repair and see if your dat is corrupted, also give your laptop a good cleaning, and make sure there is no spyware/malware or anything else on your laptop.

If you can remember the exact error message that you’re seeing this would be helpful for troubleshooting this issue. Additionally, what system specs are you working with? Specifically: CPU, GPU, RAM, OS

Here are my specs:

Windows 8
CPU: 4th Gen Core i5 4200U
4 GB RAM
GPU: DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 740M de 2 GB

I’m playing at minimum specs.

Thing is, as said before, in this very same notebook I played GW2 other times just fine! I reinstalled the game and although I don’t get the error message anymore, it’s like I havea monstrous lag. And I d/l the game at almost 2mb/s, so internet is fine!

Also, got the error:

“The game client lost it’s connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)
