Anet, we want a permanent fix and we want it NOW.
1 month of lag (even more for other players), and you haven’t done anything. This is embarrassing, unprofessional and unacceptable. What’s the point in making new content if we can’t even play without lag?
Yes, we’re the minority of the players, maybe not even 1/6, is that why we don’t deserve an update to fix our problems? Is that why we didn’t get an explanation?
Some players are thinking about leaving the game, I’m one of those, and belive me, patience isn’t my strong suit.
Impossible to play right now, 350ms only towards Anet servers.

I had severe lag last night, probably the worst since launch. Even in crowded areas such as the new JP, my FPS was always 40-60 (so not graphical lag). I had to stop playing as it was like watching a slideshow. This was happening even when I was in the middle of nowhere, soloing some trash mobs. At an event I continued fighting for 25% of the boss health after it had died.
No other game or website had any slowdown during this time. I thought that it was fixed today as I played for a couple of hours on and off but then it came back about an hour ago. Same story, connection is fine, other games are fine, voice comms are fine, PC is fine, etc. The only thing suffering is GW2 which is unplayable again.
I did try forcing a port 80 connection but that didn’t help at all. Packets take forever from GigabitEthernet5-0-0.GW12.DFW9.ALTER.NET [152.63.97.90] to 65.205.119.210 and then onwards until the trace completes (240-260ms).
Tests to p4-23-c0-ncdc-pub.plaync.net [206.127.158.1] took 39-47ms by comparison.

I keep getting disconnect. Start happening 5 days ago.
The server is located in Kansas, in all the servers located in EEUU my latency is ~ 200 but on gw2 is almost half a second,
At first i was unable to do Spvp, then i was unable to do WvW and i ended doing PvE, nowdays the game becomes unplayable,

Having this same problem with lag and extremely low FPS.
Everything was fine this morning. No system hardware or software changes.

Since yesterday morning (tue 2nd july) constant disconects, long/stuck at loading screens, enter zones to find no mobs / NPC non responsive.
tracert and resmon showing packet loss. I have contacted my ISPs tech support who have told me (after turning off and on again ;p) thakittens my ethernet cable at fault, they can find no problems.
Now today (9am ish UK time) Ive had 5 disconects in a row just trying to log in ankitten ow unable to even log in on the launcher. Also logging into the forums is taking a lot longer than normal.

After the patch on 02/07/13 The game became practically unplayable. All ports forwarded, no firewall on or AV on with no other use of the internet. Takes a good long time to load if successful, but at the moment it’s just hanging on loading screens.

Experiencing the same issues as Arlandrial since yesterday (02/07/13), no change whatsoever on this end! Lengthy loading screens, occasionally lag followed by disconnection. There were no issues prior to this, and the rest of the internet connection is entirely unaffected.

skill lag everyday starting at 10-11 am and being less laggy after 9 pm, and after midnight, this lag simple disappear and the game becomes very fluid.

I get stuck in loading screens AND in the middle of playing in the zones, usually followed by “Log-in server down” errors, which appear repeatedly when trying to log back in (both from the launcher or char selection screen)
This started few days~a week ago, my ISP did have problems in the recent days, so not sure when it started. Might be related, although the GW2 problems appear when I don’t get disconnected from the internet.
Currently I saw the code 7:11:3:191:101 after char selection, now got into Hoelbrak and use a WP to get 42:1000:9001:4125:101, went into Wayfarer Foothills and get the same error code again…

Normally no netwerkproblems but today about 5 disconnects in 2 hours and about a dozen freezes
mine was better for a few days but same good old 101 error again when trying to enter any wvw map in prime time… yes i know its me not you cough

Been getting daily disconnects and this error and its really starting to get to me, iv shelled over £200 for this game and being unable to play properly is just…. disheartening.
Morning and afternoon play is usually fine but as soon as primetime hits here aka 6pm GMT onwards I get disconnected constantly, this has only started since the newest patches came out.

So two weeks on from ANETs last message saying they tweaked a few things and still many people are raising this same issue. So that tweak didn’t work then…
The fact that two weeks on ANET have not commented reflects ANETs support philosophy…
ANET haven’t learned yet that customer support is a clear marketplace differentiator

Submit an actual support ticket as well as posting here. You can be lost in the noise here whereas on the support website you should get a response in a reasonable amount of time even if it’s a lacklustre one.

WvW is unplayable for me… I’m getting Skill Delays to up to 1-2 minutes, and then i get a DC
While I can’t do anything, I still see people around me doing everything, for example I even got ressed (while getting disconected) and I still couldn’t do anything

Not sure if this is related but I got in touch with my isp and they pointed me to our forum and this notice.
I have found other isp in the uk are having the same trouble.
I also seem to have developed the lag problem.

After Dragon Bash my GW2 started to be unplayable. I never had that kind of problem and the others MMO are just fine for me. I hope they fix that issue before ppl start to run out GW2…

Like azrrael.1463 after Dragon Bash my GW2 started to be unplayable im getting a delay of 1-3 seconds which makes the game unplayable. I just have this kind of problem with GW2, so for no mencion other MMORPGS which i dont have this issue, i just want to say that i hope u can fix this soon….its really annoying

Only my warrior seems to get this fault. My ranger, mesmer, guardian and thief appear to be ok.
… so I don’t think it is a problem with the internet or my computer/software.

Hello Just want to throw in my experience on this issue.
My game runs fine during the day and later at night. But during the evenings 6-10pm I have 1-2 minute skill lag, and often cant even “connect” to login server.
Please not the game runs FINE outside of these Hours.
I also notice that during these hours the GW2 forum and website loads incredibly slowly.

TalkTalk here. I really hope there is a solution out there somewhere. At the moment there is a good 6 hours of every day where it is just impossible to play the game.
With Sky in the UK here. At about 6pm gmt on wards I begin to experience skill lag and lag that causes me to incorrectly see players moving. It began about 3 days ago and has continued consistently.
