Well, I’ve been searching multiple websites, and even the official GW & GW2 website, and I couldn’t find an answer to my problem, so I hope this is the right place to post.

I haven’t played GW for a long time, so when the release of GW2 came out, I got pretty excited, so I went back, and started to play GW again.

Well after I read you can link GW to your GW2 account, I went ahead, and did it for the special awards etc.

Now the thing states after I linked them, I now use the same e-mail & password for GW that I use for GW2.

Well now here is where the problem occurs. I can’t purchase stuff on the GW store, as it always gives me a Security error, and I can’t log on to my NCSOFT Master Account, as it says my username & password is wrong, since I know have to use the e-mail & password that I use for GW2 for GW now.

I even tried using the original username@ncsoft & password I had before the merge, and I still can’t get in or do anything.

So is this an issue that is being worked on, or has anyone else encountered this problem to!?

Hello,
I’ve got a question: Has anyone else had a problem where they linked their accounts and you didn’t get anything in game and it doesn’t even look like you have linked your accounts aside from your Guild Wars 2 account page saying you have? Do I have to reach a certain level to get my stuff or is there an ongoing issue with HoM at the moment? I know I put in my time and the calculator says I’ve got 30 points. And is this something I should submit a ticket about?

Hi, i’m having problem linking my old gw1 account that was hacked(gw1 support successfully retrieved my NCSoft Master account and pass for me, although i can’t change the e-mail login, which it’s the hacker’s e-mail ¬¬), when i try to login using the ’hacker’s’ e-mail address and the new password i’ve set for in game gw1 logging in, i get an error page in firefox and in ie and no linking for me.

The reference to my issue is: [Incident: 121026-002431]

Please, i remember that i had a lot of trouble setting my HoM to 50/50 back in the day and i’m afraid that this hacker might have linked my HoM to a new GW2 account he might have created(that would explain the linking error).

Well I am in this boat with everyone else. I actually had two GW accounts when I tried to link accounts it auto linked with the wrong account. Probably the first account it saw with a matching e-mail address. I am now stuck it will not let me use my old character names from GW in GW2. Guess I will have to wait to spend money in this game until this can be fixed. Back to Skyrim e-mail when you have time to fix my account.

Still have not be able to successfully link GW to GW2. any idea when this is going to be corrected? Yes I know there are other things that seem to be more important but I would think the development of new content would be behind getting promised things working. That of course is just my opinion.

I’ve been trying to link my accounts for a period of time now and consistently get the same error:

I’m assuming its an issue relating to logging in as its been a few years since I’ve logged into my previous account but I’m hoping a mod can help me out. I love the new game and would truly appreciate being able to link my previous game account which is under the same email address.

Tried linking accounts, says my account is linked but I have no idea to what account lol. Had a ticket in but was asked my original gw serial code which i cannot access or even begin to find. My emails are different from my gw1 account and the one I’m using for gw2, have a full hall on gw1 and would just like to be able to use the stuff I would get since I worked awhile to get that done, thanks.

Every single time. I’ve tried other browsers and I still have the same issue trying to link My Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 accounts.

Recently I was banned for fraud payment.
I am willing today to buy a new physical copy of GW2.
Can you link my previous characters to the new account so I will not loose my progress?

Anyone know why I get that error when I try to link my accounts?
“A server error has been encountered. Please wait a moment and try again.”
The account I try to link is recently restored from ban for fraud payment.
Support told me to buy new cdkew and reopen the account but I have already a new account and I get that error when I try to link them

First I was playing, then I got kick out by the game, and I try to log in again, and it show up suspended, Error code: 45:6:3:2114, so I thought might be the serial code problem, so I register again with a same account name with new serial code, but it didn’t work, so I post the problem, and its been waiting by Payment Review Team to research, please I need to know, dose my account everything will stay the same??

So my account serial code was found the fraudulent purchase, and I already re-registered with a new serial code to a same account , and it registered success, what are the options

1. Do I just lost an account and brand new serial code ??
2. Do I get my old account back ??
3. Do I get my brand new serial code back and re-register an new account ??

HI there, i got GW2 a few weeks back linked my GW1 account for HOM rewards and such, when i goto the HOM it says i dont have a account to link even though it says so on account management.

am i correct in thinking no-one has this, or has there been a messup on my account ?

I was playing my game as usual then again I got kick out the game, then blocking me by saying I am selling golds and items for real-world money,
if is that, may I ask why can’t I send golds to my Guild members ?? which some of them help me when I was start playing the game, which when I got more golds that I make it return to them, If this is the reason I got block, then I really don’t know how to play this game, you can check if u like, I sent those golds to 4 of my guild members, 5g each and one of my member return to me, please double check, as right now you are blocking a player which didnt do anything wrong, and those people who are still selling golds never get block, and just keep sending mails to us all the time, why dont they get block for sending those mails ??.

Still the same here. My Ncsoft GW1 account is healthy with no problems, but it still will not link. I would have thought they would have sorted this out by now.

Tried to link my GW1 account and got that XML error that everyone else seems to have above. Tried a couple dozen times with the above mentioned methods (adding ncsoft to the email ending etc).

I would like to linked an account but the problem is I forgot the password on that account and it also has no serial code (since its here) and no character of course which unables me to “Forgot Password”..

Hi,

A friend has multiple guild wars 1 accounts (being a vet from the early days) after purchasing guild wars 2, linked the wrong guild wars 1 account to her guild wars 2 account thus missing out on the HoM perks.

Is this problem able to be resolved?

They will be able to assist you. For tips on what information to provide in a ticket, please read this post and provide as much as possible to expedite the ticket.
