The game has always run fine. I have never had a crash of any type.
Since Jubilee update I have been getting this network errors, and then the game crashes:

“The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and try again”
(code=7:11:3:191:101)

“Network error. The inability to connect to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure”
(Code=5:11:3:159:101)

I can play alright if i load a character which is in a map already, and if i do not leave the map. Everything normal. Events, rewards, dialogues. All ok.
Problem started with me trying to load the Pavilion. I would get this errors every single time- I was not able to play the area.
I thought this was due to the sheer amount of players in that particular area, so i went to do other things.
Then, what has never happened before, I was unable to load Fractals. Same errors.
Then i discover this would happen every time i was to load a new map, either by portal through, or by means of the heart of the mists. The balloons. WP to another WP in anothwer map. WP fron outside LA to LA or vs. Load wvw, pvp… All connectivity is crashed.
From map to map: On loading, game crashes. Then, if i load this character again, this happens:
- the loading screen of the “portal from” map appears (where my character was).
- then the loading screen of the “portal to” map appears.
- then i get the network error… and the game crashes.
So that character is “lost in space”, unretreivable!
3 of my lvl 80 characters are on that situation.
With last night patch i was able to rescue 2 of those characters (one was in pavilion, other in between maps). But now they are lost again, one in the loading process from DV to Queensdale, the other, again, in between maps.

At 7:00 pm i downloaded the rescent patch. It fixed almost everything. I can access Pavilion. I can WP. No crash on loading Fractals (accessed it by my own, just to the lobby). It seems to be ok now.
Except, i still cannot retrieve a character, got crashed three times, so I will send this ticket.

In that thread I could not find a response of Anet, I hope this time be different, I link it cuz maybe help track the problem. Lost packages in certain maps

The problem has been solved.
I held two email interchanges with tech serv.
The first I was suggested to add a /clientport 80 command to the shortcut target line. This would not provide any sensible distinction on the problematic behaviour.
Then I was invited to add a -repair command to the shortcut target line.
This proved to be effective. Since then I have done all sort of activities and no issue was present at any time. Everything loads just fine.
This, and the patch from Aug the 7th, has been the solution for the problem consigned on this thread.

PD. Before the -repair thing, i was able to recover my unretrievable character by the means of guesting in the character selection screen. After changing worlds, the character loaded without problems.

Lavanet, thank you for confirming the guesting bit, no one ever posts back after we recommend that on here, so I ever knew if it worked or not… Lol!

i had this issue the past 2 days aswel (windows 8.1) tried all my 10 characters and couldn’t get in any one of them. Sometimes i couldn’t even connect to the login server

Started getting this code today, played once but when I logged out of the game and came back there it was. nothing new on my end AN
issue.

I also just started getting this code. Seems like some zones work while others don’t.

I am also getting this error. It just started today. I’ve tried the suggested fixes that I’ve seen floating around ( adding these to the shortcut options. /clientport 80 -prefreset and -repair ) None of them seem to have fixed the issue.

I’ve managed to play somewhat but every time I load a map with any of my characters I hold my breath because this has happened so much already. It mainly happens to me when I load into Lions Arch, Gendarren Fields, WvW, and the Queens Pavillion.

Also sitting with this exact issue, thus far there does not seem to be a fix.

Hoping something happens in the next couple of days, because we can’t keep doing the ask support thing if the never give this issue attention.

i’m getting this code Code=7:11:3:191:101. and it keeps kicking me and my g/f from the game. we both have this issue.

I am also getting this error starting today. The weird thing is though that I can still play on 2 of my 5 characters. 2 that are in Gendarran Fields and 1 in the Heart of the Mists are the ones I that when I click play gets the error code but the 2 that are in Divinity’s Reach I can log in to no problem. I’m guessing it may be map specific so I’ll just stay away from those maps on the characters I can play on

Edit: Just tried to take one of the characters from Divinity’s Reach to Labyrinthine Cliffs and when I waypointed to Lions Arch it was fine but once I took the waypoint to the cliffs I started getting the error code

I too have this problem, starting right after I loaded the patch. My husband is also seeing it.

Flushing dns works briefly, but if I try to change zones or enter an instance, it crashes again with the159:101 error. Problematic characters in Gendarran, Lion’s Arch, and Divinity. I had a character in the LCliffs, which worked fine until I did the event race thingy, and now that character is bugged too.

I have done the -repair, but no files are problematic. I’ve tried launching with the port parameter, and it in conjuction with flushdns will let me access a character, as long as that character doesn’t go anywhere or do anything.

Whenever I login, it gives me an error retrieving the news feed, and then I try to enter an event (Sanctum Sprint) and it gives me the same error:

“The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and try again”
(code=7:11:3:191:101)

I am having the same issue and none of the flushing or clientport solutions seem to solve he problem. Could we get someone from tech support to look at this please.

Edit: The patch last night seems to have fixed the 5:11 error for me.

so how do we fix this? I’m still having this problem all over the place now i can’t even get in

Im having the same issues with Error 5 too. Tried fixing but to no avail. This only happened some 2-3 days ago with the new patches.
If I try to go to another map by wp or by normal travel I would get error 5, now this is random. I tried with 2 other online games I have, with servers in the U.S. and both games worked fine.

The problem I had with error 5 still persist, it’s been 3 days now. Sometimes I can manage to log into the character selection and getting the error when trying to load into the game.

Got this just now… anyone got a fix? I got the 7 code travelling to Lornar’s pass from the North gate and now when trying to log in on that char I get the 5 code. Can log in to my warrior in LA just fine.

It’s particularly annoying atm because my salvage-o-matic is on that char

Okay, it seems to have resolved itself almost immediately. Very odd

So there is definitely a problem with Lornar’s Pass – has happened again trying to relog into that zone

Having the same problem right now in The Grove, both me and my friend cannot log back in…

I got Error Code=5:11:3:159:101 when I tried to join a PvP solo arena match on Legacy of Foefire a couple of minutes ago.
Now I am stuck in loop (the start-timer of the match keeps resetting and can´t leave the queue), which means I can´t play the game AT ALL.

I just sent in a support ticket and hope they will resolve the issue quickly… this really sucks =(

I keep having error code 5:11:3:159:101

Was playing WvW and went dc. Tried to log back in but as it was loading (the grove) i get this error. I already tried restarting the pc.

On a side note, please allow up to jump into WvW or PvP from the character selection screen… I have no need to load any of the PvE world 99% of the time.

update:
I can log in with another character who is in Malchor’s Leap, but not with my character who is in the Grove. Again, I don’t even want to go to the Grove, I want to go to WvW.

Having the same issue with 2 of my char now, 1 went into Labyrinthine, the other just got out a match in PvP; can’t realy play like this, those dc are unbearable.

Can’t play the game. Went into a tPvP match with some guildies, the map is bugged, and now none of us can do anything. Stuck in an infinite loop of loading game > loading pvp match > crash > loading game > loading pvp match > crash.

Same here, with solo arena match on Legacy of Foefire. Can’t play for about 10-15 minutes. Uffff, nice – loading-crash-loading-crash-…
Then, I relog on another character and got a “Roster not found” error.

Same error for me, and the loop will prevent us from playing now, cause the game still tries to port you to that map , no matter which character you choose, or what you do , after 1 minute the game tries to port you to that map.

Same here. Got stuck on my two characters now and cant log in to game on any of them. First is ranger at Moun Maelstorm and second is warrior on Sparfly Fen.

Is arena net going to do anything about this or not?? many people having the same problem.

i run tru a portal from iron march to blazeridge steppes and now i am in a loop of dc on my main character he cant log in or out any more.
a few of my friends try it for me and the are stuck aswel .

suddenly disconnect and no way to rejoin the map, cause of this annoying network error → every patch new major bugs, fix it a-net!! or i will sell this game finally , thats not funny anymore
