No key emailed when buying game

My wife bought the game digital on the gw2 website the confirmation page said it will email the game serial # to her. Is it supposed to take longer than a day for her to receive this email because she has not received it, we triple checked that all her info was put in correctly and our account was charged for the game?

Did you check the spam and junk folders? There is a problem with some email sites not handling email from Guild Wars 2 properly. Check this thread here about email problems to see if that’s it.

She should have received the email almost right away. At this point contact support and explain the issue to them.
