Problem with Trading Post - only loading
Noone with the same problem here ?
Most times, a client restart fixes these issues, but maybe we coud fix it without that. Try this please and let me know if it happens to work for you: (use a different language from your native language)
1. Open your trading post (leave the window open)
2. Open your options panel
3. Change the language to French
4. Wait for the trading post to reload in French
5. Change the language back to English (anglais)
6. Test trading post
Please post back if that helped or not.
Btw, you can actually copy your gw2.dat (~17.5gb) file to a new location, uninstall the game, re-install a fresh client, quit the client once it starts to download, load your old/saved gw2.dat file back overwriting the new gw2.dat fie, ten reload your client. It should verify the file and only download a few misc files plus any new updates, saving you a ton of time and download data.
I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried restarting, clearing my cache, even tried Kyllaa’s suggestion with no luck. ><
Frenzy, are you running gw2 as admin? Also, temporarily disable any antivirus/firewall software and test it.
What happens when you try changing the language?
Yepp, running as admin, and disabling my antivirus didnt work either.
When I change the language the headers (like “Sell your stuff”) will change language but I still get the little loading symbol for the rest of the window.
I’m wondering if the billing maintenance was affecting you this morning (just actually looked at your posting times). But Sorcerak stated for 2 days now. I know the trading post was down to add new items and today is maintenance, but trying most of these “fixes” should have helped.
Is the gem store loading for you at least? (I have just confirmed that mine is working 2 minutes ago)
I found this post, I don’t know if it could have anything to do with your issue, but windows is odd like this (hence why I went to Mac lol).

The registry cleaner is what I was looking at here. Might be worth a shot if nothing else works, after that, I say you might be up to a ticket status or a shiny Anet post helping hand.
I’ve been having the problem since the patch yesterday, so I’m assuming it has something to do with that.
No the gem store isn’t working for me. Nothing happens when I click on it, don’t even get the little loading sign.
It’s starting to get a little frustrating with a full inventory and no extra bank space to store things. ><
Have you tried running the repair yet?

Repair takes me like 1 hour – problem is still here.
Im conversate with support from 10 hours straght , doing alot of stuffs and nothink helped till now.

Im preaty sure , after there is anothe people with same problem , that after the Pirate patch somethink mess up the BLTC with my pc system or similar to mine….
ive done everythink what ive found till now, everythink what support sugest me to do ( like cleaning kittenies , disable start up programs with MSCONFIG , repairing client and all others tips) and nothink changes with that issue.
I hope its just a metter of time to that problem will be resolved.
P.s. last think which im not done yet is to unninstall the client and download and install it again, but i will do that after my conversation is over with the support.
Kyllaa said that to copy the main data file to avoid the huge downloading , but i think if just client is messed up it must redownload and install all of the game contents and not to keep the old files.

Sorry nothing seems to work for you, but if you’re working with support, then that means they are aware of the issue and maybe a fix will be coming soon.
We had a broken gem store on the Mac client recently (started with dragon bash after maintenance), but after working with support, they got a fix to us too.
Please let us know if anything does work, but if nothing does, I’m sure support is trying to find out what happened.
So for everyone who have that issue after the last patch ( Pirate 25.06. ) and dont know what to do , you can see what ive done so far and you can try it by yourself (for me there is nothink works for now )
What ive done so far to try fix this problem :
1. Trying to reloging , restarting client , changing characters
2. Restarting my PC
3. Update all drivers ( motherboard , video , etc )
4. Repair the client (takes me 1 hour aprox)
5. Reinstall , update and etc all FlashPlayer / JavaPlayer /NetFramework etc.
6. Reinstall , update and etc all of mine browsers – IE , Firefox , GoogleChrome
7. Cleaning all hystory on the browsers – cookies, cache and all other stuffs ( all temoprary files ) and everythink else conected with the browsers , which can be deleted.
8.Deleting the “gw2cache(BLABLABLA)” cache folder.
9. Disable all starting programs , services and etc from MSCONFIG.
10. Checking my conection to all over the world , unpluged and pluged cables , changing ports , rebooting router and etc. Firewall – OFF , Antyvirus – OFF.
11. Trying the tip with changing in game lenguage from one to another with open/closed etc TP.
12. Running the client as administrator ( i have only administrator account on my PC , no quests account or stuffs like that , so this is pointless )
13. Hitting my keyboard and mouse , kicking my PC (which make it to reboot) and all shts like that.
And nowthink works for me !
Waiting now for final advice from the support before i redownload and reinstall whole game ( it will takes me like 10 hours, maybe more ).
And if the problem persist after that i will ask Anet to remove the last patch , so i can browse the TP like before 2-3 days
If someone have any idea , which is not included here – im opened for testing !

After several hours downloading and installing brand new copy of the game the BLTC problem IS N O T FIXED
….
So now i dont know what to do…

Since this problem (for me at least) is worst when I first access the TP and following TP accesses are smoother (although they are never as good as they should be), I wondered why it gets better when repeated… so…. I now:
1) Access TP, wait 3 to 5 sec; close TP window.
2) Repeat step 1 until I get the portion of TP that I want.
This has cut my TP access time by roughly half.
Please don’t try this yourself, it will only overload the Trading Post Server and increase my access time.

So the problem was in old root certificates (somethink with network)
For anyone who have the same problem here is the solution :
1.Open your Guild Wars 2 folder
2. Locate and DELETE “Local.dat” file
3. Download the program called “rootsupd.exe”
(i culdnt downloaded from microsoft site , but after litle search on google i found it)
4. Run the program. You will probably have to click ‘run’ or ‘allow’ a couple times, but after that, nothing will appear. If you run the program and nothing happens that’s ok, it is as it should be.
5.Run Guild Wars 2 client , log in and you can access the BLTC !!!
So again and again i must say to gw2 support team , becouse they realy tryed out everythink to make that solution . They was fast in sugestions and at last the problem was solved !

The solution sorcerak pointed out doesnt work for me.
ive been on the windows site and downloaded a couple of rootsupd.exe file and after that looked for the most recent “root update” may 2013 and march 2013. and nothing helps.
There problebly is something different with my problem aswell, cos i dont get the loading cirkel when i open TP. its just blanc and stays that way on all tabs. Only thing i could do was get my pick ups from the tp NPC.
hopefully its fixed soon, cos this is really anouing.

step 12. Running it as administrator did it for me. I dont have any other account on my pc so i dont know why it doesnt do that automaticly. Now i only have to try and make it run as admin all the time :P
if you using widows 7 i know thats a problem ,
but imagine when i must delete the Local.dat file and download it again any time i start the game

I’m also having this problem, however the above fixes didn’t work for me.
Open the BLTC window and can click on tabs and get headers but nothing else. Can’t see my gems/gold.
Strange thing is, I can access the BLTC from my laptop, but not from my desktop pc. Both systems running windows 7.
Any other ideas?
Nexxis, I believe you can right click on the icon, then choose properties. Somewhere in there, I believe there is a tick box to enable the application to always run as admin.
