Your GPU is an entry level graphics card. Its not meant to play games, its meant as a card to play HD/ BluRay Media. To give you an idea of how weak it is check out these passmark benches

7470 – 367
7850 – 3665

LITERALLY 10 times as powerful. And the 7850 is a mid grade graphics card that is capable of maxing out GW2 no sweat.

HD 7870 GHz Ed. on sale @ Newegg $190 after rebate:

GTX 660s are just a hair over $200 at this point, better deal than the 7870 without that newegg sale. If you miss the sale and can’t swing the 660, go for a 650Ti boost (2GB) for ~$170-180.

Also, before upgrading your graphics card be sure your power supply is enough for what you’re getting, if not you’ll need to replace that as well (particularly a concern if this is a pre-built rig you’re upgrading). Graphics cards will generally give minimums, but I’d find a wattage calculator online and use that to see what all your components will draw (the card’s minimum is just a guess).

What he said^^
As a person with a 78** card, I can tell you that they overclock like a kitten on cocain.

My 7850 stock clocked struggled to get Crysis 3 maxed out, but with a pretty hefty OC, I was able to Max it out. I’ve OC’d my 7850 to ALMOST 670 levels. That will give you an idea of how high they can overclock.

But any of the cards basketcase listed will be sufficient.

For your specific rig, I’m Positive that a 500+ watt PSU will be just fine provided its from a reputable company. Try to stick with Antec, Seasonic, and try to avoid Raidmax, Rosewell, or any PSU that seems too good for the money.

This low fps issue in my opinion isn’t our pc, but something in the game (server), a lot of people is getting the same problem.
