We are very sorry, but we are not able to replace items or gold in these situations. In most cases, any sort of “roll back” is of a few minutes’ duration. The most recent one that I remember lasted 20 minutes. It’s unfortunate that in that period there may be a loss here and there, and of course it’s especially irritating when it happens to you!
Those of you having continuing connection issues, I’d like to ask that you post in the Technical Support Sub-Forum. There are a couple of existing threads, so if you’re issue falls into that area — if you’re getting error 7.XX, for instance, please add to that thread so the team can keep an eye on the situation and help you directly.

One of our guild mates lost 3hrs of gameplay.
same lost my fotm tokens
Was exiting fractals after completion, got monthly achievement but havent open chest, also few items and relics… suddenly disconnected and then when back on, all is gone, as if i quit fractals half way.. only left with 5 relics and some junk.. please address this anet..
aye … same here … lost 2 skill points, about 2 waypoints and a Quest (heart) completion … about 2 hours worth of gaming. Not to mention that now I have to repeat them again.
There goes my HotW progress, tokens and an Exotic recipe among the loot.
Lost all tokens and gear from my last exhausting arah path 2 run while the rest of the party is fine and lost nothing. Thanks anet, thanks.
Yup. I lost about two and a half hours of game play. Around 21ish gold, a Giant Eye, 6 rares. Nothing I put on the TP is on it nor anywhere else for that matter. Ported to LA with every bag filled with loot and dced instantly. Logged back in and was in cursed shore at the point in time right before I started the grind with empty bags.

Exact same thing here….not as drastic gold wise, but around 2 hours play time. I sure hope I get this back.
i lost a vista which i had waited a week to get, now i doubt ill ever get it again :’(
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve lost items due to rollbacks. This time, I had bags full of crafted greens/rares + stuff I found in a 2 hour period and salvaged a lot of them. I doubt i’ll get the same ecto drops the second time around.

I am affected by the rollbacks as well. It’s kinda grating since I had just finished fractals 10 daily and had gotten some nice loots along with a Yakkington Ring. I’m so not looking forward to redoing all that and getting nothing good from the run this time around.
I noticed that the login connection issues and/or server issues last night seems to have set my character back in time by a couple of hours.
I had finished mapping the newbie Norn area and had just waypointed to Lion’s Arch when the game crashed.
Logging in today: half of the Norn newbie area remains unmapped.
I don’t really care since I wasn’t doing anything important, but I’m not entirely sure how a login server issue would reset a character’s progress.

I friggen lost 2 exotics I received from completing fireheart rise. Can they be replaced??
I just checked my account after the Error 42 from last night that booted me and my party when we left TA, and the rollback has made me lose the tokens and most of the rares that I got last night that I had planned on salvaging.
So I’ve got a response from , and was told ‘sorry for any inconvenience caused but there is nothing we can do’ … dats really bad service anet… Server’s issues, not just disconnecting and cant relog, but items and loots and progress all gone… all you did was ‘we are sorry’ and that’s it?
Have you thought that maybe they can’t roll back from the roll back? Think of it this way, the most recent data then the previous saved point are different, but if they roll back, it still won’t be at the point you need. Like, say someone is hacked and requests a rollback, my bet is that the rollback isn’t going be at the point the account was hacked, but at the last save point before the hacking. It’s very possible they just don’t have the data to be able to restore what was lost from the rollback.
I can understand not being able to roll back from the roll back.. but wouldn’t a coin or two as a gesture to make customers feel better, a better option that just ‘sorry we can’t do anything so that’s it’…. really bad customer service… anyway, sounds like its final and we are the losers… for something which ain’t even our fault (maybe not theirs as well, but shouldn’t they be a little more responsible than just apologize?)
I havent been able to log on for the past 15 hours or so
Very furious bout the roll back as I had gotten a Fractal Greatsword right after I completed my fotm run! I spent so many weeks running FoTM to get my desired item and now I lost it due to the server disconnetion! I feel so disheartened & disappointed cause all that amount of time I have spent is for nothing, now.
I got it worst I dinged 80 only to have it count as hitting 79 for the second time with an empty xp bar
I didn’t lose 20 mins I didn’t lost my xp due to a roll back I lost my XP cause my level went from 79 to 79 Yes that is right I ding 79 while level 79 I should be 80
