since the update today my client does not work anymore
logging in and updating seems to work but then it just goes all grey as you can see in my attached image
no crash report error code or anything

i hope someone can help me or this gets fixed

Edit: i am playing on a macbook air mid 2012, i know, not the best specs but it worked until today
OS X Version 10.9.1

I was able to play after todays update – then the game hung. After using force quit and rebooting the client loaded and recognised my username/password and then hung on the black screen with the passive hand.

Following the directions in the links above has been fruitless despite repeatedly including reboots etc. I see the client download to refresh itself. It recognises my U/P and welcomes Arfpint…but pressing Play results in a black screen with a hand on it.

When I wait long enough – I get the Fatal Disk Error (31) message…and a message saying that it has been forwarded to ArenaNet. Searching for that error in the forum showed me that I am not alone – but also had no response from tech support. Not a good sign.
