I’ve had this problem on and off for a few weeks. But it’s much worse now. I can’t use any chat functions except /say because of it either. And, no, I don’t even have a firewall.

I can’t connect at all during my night time.
If I -can- get in, it boots me when I try to connect in to a character.

If you put in a support token, they’ll ask you to run diagnostics and other crap because it has to be an issue on your side -.-

Really trying hard to stay calm but this is getting beyond ridiculous now.

Ye, support told me that some of port are closed.
I didn’t make any secrutiy chages on my router and all my 4 pc have no connection.
And plz. how the hell did i play this game for an year with closed port?!

Wrote in to support.
Being told to use a proxy to play. GG Arenanet. Your stuff is broken and it’s everyone else.

Just starting having the problem this morning when trying to open the PvP game browser.

can’t pvp anymore due to this and some immense lag

just bought the game. haven’t played it. wish i never bought it if i knew i was going to have these problems. i have tried all the fixes guild wars 2 recommended none of them work and allot off other people agree. fix it soon because there are so many people not playing because of it. fix it. its a problem

Problem still exist. Nothing helps router reset, game reset etc.

unfortunately this issue isnt resolved yet i realy wish it would im so hyped to play this game and i just got it today and every time i start and event i get this error X(

Got the same error, can chat can explore, i did get the rewards for monthly for example, but cant join any party in a dungeon. Meanwhile gf can play on the same network but she has the guild bug. Gz Anet.

Getting the same message here. I have had no connection problems until now. It was working fine yesterday. I could do dungeons and talk in guild, etc… now I can’t do any of it.

Same problem here, can play in open world but not in istances

Same here n now its every where I go, I had no problem b4 not sure its tide with the free trial users or what, but I could play with no lag or dc with.huge groups before n now I cant. Maybe there side needs to be rebooted?

Update: My girlfriend, using my computer, can log in to her account and she has no problems at all, but when I log in I get the error message.
Seems it is account based and only affects some users.

I just started experiencing this issue as well.

Haven’t had this previously when I played a couple of months ago but just came back on.
sPvP is pretty much undoable at this point… I’ll join a game and I’ll get disconnected in the thick of it.

Really takes the fun out of the game to say the least.

i played for 7 months and had no trouble at all, i have new PC and good internet connaction but last 3 days i can’t log into game. I get stuck on character selection screen and crash to desktop. Sometimes i manage to log in but after 5min i get black screen or network error and crash again. I sent tickets and mails to support team but that didn’t help me. I reseted router, fixed game client, made a clean install of new video drivers, uninstalled the game and downloaded it again but nothing changed. I hope i will be able to play the game again…

Likewise, I’ve had no problems playing the game since i purchased it over half a year ago, but for the last couple of days I have been experiencing this problem which makes me unable to run dungeons, miss out on world boss events because I get disconnected when they’re at 1% health etc. The error code I’m getting is 58:11:5:512:101.

Same for me. Since friday i’ve been having choppy gameplay with random disconnects making the game unplayable for me. I assumed it was a ISP issue but have run several speed tests all with normal results and have played other MMOs normally with no net issues.

did anyone find a way to solve this issue?

Last time it happened it was in the middle of the night for me and it was fine the next day. its been 2 days now and i’m still not able to use any of the social interface other than public chats..

Yeah, I just got it about a hour ago. Been trying to log back in ever since. I can get to the character select screen fine, but when I try to log in with my character, I get the message. Judging by the dates I’ve seen in this topic, this issue is not new. Worrying.

I sure hope my character is ok. I was being attacked by risen when I got kicked.

I just got hit with this error about 10 minutes ago. Very frustrating.

I have been getting this login server error every 5-20 minutes for the last two days while IN game. I’ve been stuck having to queue and requeue and requeue for WvW and leagues is about to start. Its been happening since the last patch.

I am having the same issue for 2 days now, every 5 – 30 minutes I get a disconnect with the mentioned message. A solution is needed and fast.

i just started getting this error and decided i’d relog but i can’t even log in to the game anymore. fix this asap anet. ever since the halloween patch on the 15th, there’s been a lot of issues with the server.

Getting this as well. Didn’t happen till today however.

The message appears right upon my character selection, could log into my characters in a brief moment then I got disconnected again. Clearly it is not problem regarding my internet connection

i played today just fine, then picture got frozen like i’m getiing DC…
i exited gw2, and when i started game again, pressed log in and get this

…Little nervous after reading this thread. Just bought the digital version of the game, and although it’s still currently downloading, it’s giving me the same error message. Now, I’m ASSUMING it’s because the game itself isn’t anywhere close to being downloaded, so of course I can’t log in yet.

But it’s definitely concerning. When you download the game, can you normally login (to some un interesting waiting screen as the game downloads, maybe?)

Basically, should I be upset already? Or just wait until the game is finished downloading and then check again……

You know what it could be? I’m in a Wegman’s…that’s a campus network…right? I mean…RIGHT?

Getting this message from past 2weeks i am from India . Argued very badly with my ISP provider thinking its my net connection problem but it works fine even 1080p ytube vids are seamlessly streaming without any problem i dnt know whats the problem with GW2
The problem Get dced every 5-10 mins very annoying not able to do dungeons or events or even little pve content .Even a deer is killing me really… <Gonna see 1 more week if the issue not resolved gonna leave Gw2>

I am now getting this error and cannot log into the game!!!! Help!!!!!

It only just started happening to me, it was fine last night and now it’s decided that it can’t access the login server anymore so I can’t even get into the game. I find this issue very annoying and I hope it doesn’t fall upon death ears now that arena net think that the issue is resolved when it’s happening more than ever.
