Guild Wars 2

After teleporting to the Grove which I believe is a mega server zone now I can no longer use any chat, the only way I can communicate is with /me

Whispering someone tells me they are not online.

Restarting Gw2 or switching characters does nothing. I’ve seen a few others with this problem in game.

I’m also having this problem, and it started after I went to the Grove as well. Restarting didn’t do anything, or switching characters.

Got this same problem as well. Visited the grove and now all my characters can’t chat, be it normal, party, whisper, or guild.

Same here I & my daughter & my husband all play GW2 we have our own computers and accounts to be super clear… tried to go to the grove to show my daughter a few POI & now my chat doesn’t work at all I can’t even whisper ppl

Same-none of my toons can now communicate. as I am a guild leader this is a problem

Yea this is happening to me as well. i went to the grove but i’m not sure if it was right after that or later but still.

AVOID THE GROVE! This happens across ALL of your characters once one of them visits the Grove. I would also avoid (for now) for good measure the other starter home Cities that are within the meta server sphere. This is a HUGE problem! I can only mail people-very frustrating!

Geesh-“not so as I can see” was what was SUPPOSED to be posted lol

same ;p I thought it was just another mac bugg LOL after the trading company hahah. Glad Im not alone but I feel alone since I can’t talk.

i’m having this bug too

hope this gets sorted out soon, not being able to talk to people in an mmo is kind of a big deal :/

They know about this and are working on it.
