playing on Underworld

Can’t log in for 3 hours. Europe, Underworld server.

“The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time. This is most commonly caused by firewall or router settings, security applications, or connecting through a campus network. For additional support, please visit http://support.guildwars2.com.”

Still nothing ehh… I will reset mu router, when it won’t work I will play LoL and try to log to GW2 tomorrow

Same thing. Was playing normally til now. wanted to check TP for crafting mats and saw error 502 so I closed the client. can’t get into the game now.

Really? If that’s the case, then ANet have just breached the Data Protection Act. I wouldn’t be too happy about that if it was me.

Yes this is happening to a lot of people but I cant ask anyone in guild to confirm if they can actually see my email address or if it’s only showing the email to me since most of my group are having the same problem.

I have tried to get in the game now 2 and half hours and I could not log in at once. I live in Europe, but I play US server.

I relogged because my mouse left/right click doesnt worked…

managed to log in but got the email address issue like some others

Managed to login as far as character selection screen and no further. Noted that the instead of account name as seen to the left, my email address was showing instead.

Never had so often problems with blizzard…all the time some errors,dc,bugs even on personal story and now this…

Since I don’t think you will fix it up today will we get rewards for the daily we cannot complete? Laurel and mystic coin for me are the most important.

I could finally login. Sure enough, the email shows instead of login name. Seems to be visible only for me though, cant see the others mails and they cant seem to see mine.

Complete thread about this problem, I guess whole Europe can’t log in. They said they’re working on it.

D3 is just a nightmare… I’ve been playing GW2 for 3 months, this is the first major problem I experience. With D3 it was just impossible to play 3 days in a row without having a server down….

This needs to be solved soon. Was in game, had to log out shorty and then I cant get back online… again.

Still need my daily done, dont want to lose out on another laurel becuase Anet screws up.

I am now able to login but do not want to risk login out again but all is good for me so far thanks Arena net

Having finally logged back in successfully, it displays my email address in both character select screen ..and in guild screen too.

I hope thats not permanent, rather just a temporary side effect of fix for login issues?

Let me also say that this issue shows that this game is getting really popular!

Bought this game yesterday, and I must say, ArenaNet has made a beautiful game! In addition to the game beeing beatiful, the ArenaNet team is really good at communicating with the community. Which in turn has given the game alot of great improvements, and hopefully will add many great improvements in the future. On top of this, we are given detailed information fast and regularly when errors occurs, like this one.

Keep up the great job ArenaNet, first time in a long time I’ve been smiling so much when playing a game! Or when having technical issues as well
