So I lost all my money spent on the TP crafting, and they did a roll back and I lost all my progression. When will this be restored??

Lost a 79 exotic 2h I had just found about 3 hearts. Maps not even uncovered anymore.

This is a major issue and something needs to be done. I lost all my rare mats, over 2g, and was just about to hit 400 crafting in my 3rd profession.

I know I went back to 44% map completion from 46%. In Timberline falls, I basically lost half the waypoints, a couple hearts and a few POI. Now I am wondering if I am missing inventory, collectables, gold etc.

Lost a few level 80 yellow drops. This is bullkitten.

I lost 4 levels and my 100% completion of Queensdale.

I had the same problem….

I had recently loaded into Hoelbrak and lost about 60% of the progress I had made on town completion before trying to load into an instance. Seems to have only affected that zone as I had just come from completing Divinity’s Reach and it was still intact when I logged back in.

An hour rollback? That’s a bit much. Lost a level and 98% map complete (last part bugged) back to 87%

I had logged out to change characters and when I tried to log back in again I found my character had been rolled back so all the crafting discoveries and basically any activities for the last hour are all gone

Anet please fix this.

Yeah I lost my CM explorable achieve that we had just completed and and I lost 15 out of 30 tokens

I lost a bit of crafting, myself. I’m sure they’re working to restore what was lost.

So how are the devs going to repay us for a whole lost hour of our time???
thats the answer i want to hear.

I would like to have this rollback, undone, I have just lost the time that I spent on map progression, hearts, skill points, waypoints, points of interest, vistas. Lost the coins I gained, and the loot I gained. I am sure you have records as to the areas that we were at, and the progress/coins/loot we had.

yup, lost a level and a half, two heart completions, a token award.
Won’t be playing that character any more tonight.

Listing specific things you lost won’t help them track anything down and I seriously doubt they’ll attempt any sort of restoration from a random forum post.

What will help is the name of the world server, the zone you were in and the toon you were playing that lost things. That will hopefully let them narrow down which instances crashed and rolled back data.

Just discovered this myself. Lost a good hour of progress, a fair chunk of map completed, XP rolled back, loot and items gone, skill points undone…. Pretty unhappy about this…

I think we’ll wait for a response from the actual people that will know what information they need, and then reply accordingly. Until then letting them know what general problem is going on is fine.

I lost about 1 1/2 levels some loot and about 8g on the TP….

i gess someone found an exploit and they decided to roll back the entire players to fix it instead of giving someone the boot apparently this must be the issue cause no actions are taken to the botters and gold sellers because the exploiter are the hot subject atm

The Devs are likely too busy trying to fix the problem. Hang tight.

Only people who lost connection got rolled back. Everyone who remained logged on did not.

Awesome how my gear was still damaged though. So i get an awesome repair bill for no f’ing reason! wtf???

I know how you feel, We lost half our CM explorable run, the 2nd half. So we’re down 15 tokens and no achievement.

Lost roughly two hours of exploring – Hearts, POI, Views…. Random events.

Edit: Lets not forget the Level and coin.

Lost roughly an hour of crafting over 60 levels, 5k karma spent on recipes, 2g on TP spent buying crafting mats, the rare mats themselves, normal crafting mats, and my time!!!

Why did some people not get rolled back? What if they sold something on the TP and got their gold, but the person who bought the item got rolled back to still have their gold but not the item… meaning gold out of nowhere and an item disappearing?

They should have informed us if they were gonna roll back… then we could have pass all our items n gold to a fren***

Anyway lost half of Lornar’s pass and more than 1hour of my life.

Lost: roughly half of a zone completion, loot, completion money rewards and an entire level.

I think the rollback was an unintended side effect of the server outage. Folks who didn’t get disconnected had their characters saved after the servers came back up. Because of the outage the characters of those who got disconnected were unable to be saved prior to the disconnect.

I’m speculating here, but it makes sense.

Lost a 80 lvl pistol and everything else I had for the last hour. 3.5 gold on the TP….I’m sure they will fix it, I’m just happy I dont have too. This is going to be a fliping mess to clean up. If you offer gold for real money you better get that gold back when lost like this or its a simple call to my visa card. Dispute that Arena Net.

Client crashed when I exited the instance. Lost all boss rewards, loot, silver, xp, and time. Essentially, the entire dungeon didn’t happen.

Yikes I hadn’t thought of that. what a terrible scenario…

It isn’t that I am just frustrated about my progress being gone – it’s that SOME of my actions were still saved (using a tome of influence, queuing up a guild build). If I redo “Retribution”, I get that reward -again-. Feels dirty not to report it.

Funny thing, I wasn’t even online when it happened, but I logged on right after apparantly, and lost half my zone.

Yeah, I noticed that while I lost progression some of my under-water skills had still advanced to where I’d gotten them before I got disconnected…

Weird.

PLayed for a couple hours a bit ago, logged out. Logged in directly post crash fro mwhat I am told, and discovered the loss of data on my character.

weird i lost nothing, i was doing map completion in rata sun when it went down….still 100%
