Yaay unable to login in the afternoon cause login server crashed!
And unable to play in the evening cause lag issues!

This happens once in a while. It’s an MMO and it’s to be expected.

Usually takes up to 40 min. Take walk or something

Yet again, technical issues. Anet should really rethink their contracts with their server provider. I cant log in, but I dont get an error code, I only get the “unable to gain access to a login server” screen.

… oh and people, there are no EU servers, they are all in the US, Texas to be exact

All EU server are in Frankfurt/Germany

The Texas IP is the Connection to the Login Server and the Trade Post database in Texas/USA.

Like I said to the other guy, type /ip in game and see which server you are connected to?

You get the IP of the login server. Not your game server. Game servers for EU are in Europe. You think we would be able to get this kind of latency if the servers were all the way across the Atlantic?

don’t know if they are even aware of this, it’s not even 6am there, and there’s no message from them anywhere, even twitter

Last time …less than month ago when this happened,they needed like 1,5 hr to fix it so …on your place guys I would look for something to do in the meantime…

Fix this already Anet…. It’s been over 20 minutes and no reaction whatsoever. Sometimes I wonder if you care anymore.

OT: I tried this a couple weeks back and MAN after GW2 it feels grindy and annoying as hell Mostly because of the mob tagging system where you camp and camp for a quest mob and someone tags it with a bloody wand and lets you do the rest -.-

leaving for work with almost complete daily, I’m glad for you that you can take a walk and come back and play. We know it happens, as it’s happened before. No acknowledgement from Devs is whats frustrating.

“Slight”? for 4 weeks now I’ve only been kicked out twice, today and the patch day. Do you actually know how much wow crashed and burned during vanilla? Anyone here remember WoWError?

OT: I tried this a couple weeks back and MAN after GW2 it feels grindy and annoying as hell Mostly because of the mob tagging system where you camp and camp for a quest mob and someone tags it with a bloody wand and lets you do the rest -.-

The only thing that would make me want to go back to WoW is that I miss tanking even if it was just a mad frenzy with bashing all the keys, kinda like those dance mat style games you get at arcades :P aaah finger exercise

Same here its good at least to see its not just me i mean after resesting the router checkin firewall etc , stressfull that its not my fault though and anet still havnt fixed it or gave a responce ? post when u get back on people x

Only a verrrrry tiny exaggeration. Yesterday I was playing for 1 hour and got kicked out 3 times lol. But hey… lets wait, time isn’t money after all (isn’t it?).

HAHA the good old days, i remember setting up another monitor next to me so i could watch tv shows while trying to get back in :P

Are only the EU Server “down” or the US too?

It kind of isn’t since, you know… You’re not paying a sub and you aren’t reauired to sit infront of your Comp waiting for the login servers to get back up.. You could do something productive. And are you sure it wasn’t your end yesterday because I played the whole day (Yeah look at me talking about productive) and didn’t have any issues.

Tech support is sleeping. Come back in 2 hours, guys.
